The Russian Poisoning of Navalny

The summer nerve agent poisoning of Putin nemesis Alexey Navalny just got really weird.    

Navalny was able to trick a Russian agent,  into revealing how he had poisoned him. the agent  did it by applying the nerve agent to Navalny's underwear, the crotch specifically.  

Only in 2020.  Who comes up with these plans?

Perhaps it went something like this:  "Konstantin, why don't you kill him with his underwear?  I'll distract him while you sneak into his hotel room,  find a clean pair on underwear in his luggage and quickly apply the nerve agent before he comes back. Make sure to put a lot in the crotch. That will teach him!"
