Children have no problem adapting. The new generations will be more careful and caring than older generations. The older generations are taking longer to adapt to the change and life with the virus. Republicans still embarrassed, not sure where to place loyalties. Their uncertainty will ruin them one way or another. The party is on its last election cycle. After 4 years it will be destroyed, damaged irrevocably by self-adulation. A skeleton of itself will remain. (Carmel)

Possible hit - this takes this prediction in a slightly different direction but I kept focusing on the “embarrassed” - the Answer is “no” and it was Mitt Romney who received the answer when he pointedly asked a room full of booing Republicans if they were embarrassed.   https://www.nytimes.com/2021/05/02/us/politics/mitt-romney-booed.html
