Since his opponent fills the screen of my inner eye, I am concerned for Newsom’s fate in this election. (Jeanne Mayell)
  • A progressive wins the New York mayoral race. (GradualGoddess)

When we saw what was hard and what happened from the actions that were taken, the things that have been done are now in motion. We deal with what was wrought and we suffer the consequences of it all. But we also are beginning to see, and play in the light. We endured a huge fight and passed a real turning point, and we have survived. We must deal with this—the death of this adjustment, of this timetable, of our placement in this time when things are moving again, and we must and do successfully cope with what we lost as we build a future. (Andrew Posey)
