There is a song written in 1926 (I looked it up) "Bye Bye Blackbird" It's about saying goodbye to gloom.
Not to belabor things, but when I think of "blackbirds" flying dark against the sky, I think of crows. A group of crows is actually called a murder.
As an aside, my grandmother always believed that a bird in the house signaled a coming death.
Whoa, just got chills down my spine writing those two sentences.

Cameron Peak Fire in the Colorado rockies has now become the largest wildfire in state history and a second fire has now started outside of Boulder, CO. Both fires are blamed on extremely dry conditions. Major fires are also burning in Utah now.

When I saw the wildfires, I kind of wish I’d stuck with that to see what more evolved. I just sort of dismissed it because on 9/30,there were wildfires all around us here in NorCal, and I thought, “Of course.
