U.S. — Politics

• An absolutely miserable time for politics. Everyone is sick and tired of gridlock, obstruction, and self-serving behavior.  (Dannyboy)
• Congress is in turmoil again. (Bluebelle)
• The House Republicans are not happy with their speaker (again.) (Bluebelle)
• Nikki Haley presses her advantage when she spots a weakness in her opponent. (Baba)
• Trump gains a gust of wind, but Haley trips him. (Andrew Posey)
• Trump has his mouth in a huge round “O.”(Andrew Posey)
• Trump’s wife (Melania) expresses anger or testiness in public. (Andrew Posey)
• Trump and his family have financial difficulties that become public. (Baba)
• More nails are hammered into Trump’s coffin this month with some devastating news and decisions. Still, his people follow.  Life turns, elections turn, people turn, love turns, it’s all part of it.  (Dannyboy)

Africa

• There is a buzzing noise coming from members of the South African government. Lots of conversation, fear, and disagreement in preparation for the upcoming election. (Seaholly)

Gaza & Middle East

• More deaths in Gaza, and another Hamas leader is tracked down and killed. (Andrew Posey)
• There is a river of blood throughout Gaza, and it covers all. I see hands covered in the blood of their own.(Andrew Posey)
• The world is turning its back on a suffering Gaza.Lack of international aid. (Andrew Posey)
• An escalation in the Middle East. (Teriz)

Russia & Ukraine

• Ukraine is winning but suffering. (Jeanne Mayell)
• When I see Ukraine, I hear “despair”. The population is weary of war, but they know they cannot give up. They also feel unsupported by the U.S. (Seaholly)
• I am concerned about an alliance that harms Ukraine between Kim Jung Un and Putin. (Jeanne Mayell)
• There is funding for the war in Ukraine. (Andrew Posey)
• Russia has revolts for peace. The weather is bitter cold and the people are hungry. (Teriz)
• Russia is freezing and many are without heat due to the weather and the local and federal government incompetence. (Seaholly)

• Kim Jung Un in the news. He’s up to something bad.  He gets help from Putin. He is desperate to feed his people. And he will do whatever he needs to do. (Jeanne Mayell)

• Argentina is having demonstrations against the harsh measures of the government. Soldiers and police are beating demonstrators with sticks. (Seaholly)
• There are heated discussions and shouting within the EU Parliament. These seem to be about the alt-right risk to democracy. (Seaholly)

• Hawaii has many unhappy people about plans to rebuild Maui. People are up in arms about some plan or lack of it. (Seaholly)
• A convention in Las Vegas is in the news, and it’s bad news. (Bluebelle)
• I am hearing the word massacre. I am hoping it is not a mass shooting this month. (Tonya W)
• Actor Jeremy Renner is in the news. (Baba)

Earth & Climate

• Towards the end of February there is a warm spell in the U.S. It is very welcome. (Baba)
• I see many shades of blue. By the end of the month warmer colors emerge. (Lovendures)
• Winter is not done. Lots of white snow, but not the deep freeze we have had. (CC21)
• I see a large ice storm in the U.S. (Baba)
• Alaska has a natural disaster. Russia is also affected. (Teriz)

• It’s stormy time.  I hear “transportation troubles” and see planes flying in the wind and snow. (Seaholly)

• Gas prices in the news in the U.S. We are making headway. (Tonya W)
• A big auto corporation is doing a mass recall. (Tonya W)

• I am getting images of a cardiac system. I feel there will be some new medical advancement related to either cardiac surgery or care. (Tonya W)
• Valentine’s Day is used to talk about heart health and organ donation. (Baba)
• There is some kind of discovery in the universe. (Tonya W)
• An astronaut makes the news. (Tonya W)

• Trump looks petulant and has a threatening grimace. He’s worked on that grimace; studied Charles Koch hoping to look powerful, fierce, and dignified. (Jeanne Mayell)
• Charles Koch is past his power years and realizes he must come to terms with inevitable feebleness. (Jeanne Mayell)
• Someone quits the presidential race, but I can’t see who it is. (Baba)
• Surprising news about MTG. I see the forefathers shaking their heads in dismay. (Tonya W)
• More voters looking for a middle road for their families (Teriz)

Global Issues

• An effort is made to unbury the dead by the mothers of the missing, likely a reburial. (Andrew Posey)
• I see a shamrock. Ireland is in the news for something negative. (Seaholly)
• I see an orange buoy in the water and hear the word “channel.” It feels like something is taking place in the English Channel between the UK and France regarding either refugees or a boat accident. (Seaholly)
• I see Palestinians looking for a place to settle. They are looking for a new home and there is still no solution, but more discussions. (Tonya W)

People/Other

• I see a man on his knees begging before a court or authority. This is about some sort of important judgement. (Lovendures)
• There are people in the streets of a big city holding, raising, and waving the American Flag.I don’t know why they’re demonstrating.  (Dannyboy)
• I keep hearing, “Po Folks” (the name of a restaurant). Maybe they are in the news. (Baba)
• There is an immigrant crisis in New York City. (Bluebelle)
• Same old story, new group of crazies around the planet. Those that are extreme and not of compassion, at war with each other. It backfires. (Teriz)
• I hear the old Mamas and Papas song, “There’s a new world coming, and it’s just around the bend, there’s a new world coming.” (Andrew Posey)
• There is a train incident somewhere. I see it is not as bad as it could have been. Angels were with them. (Tonya W)

• A discovery on the ancient coast (or offshore) discovers ancient manuscript.(Andrew Posey)
• A type of rocket or supersonic prototype is being launched. It will either explode or be unsuccessful. It‘s from a private company owned by Musk or Bezos. (Seaholly)
• There is some kind of news about satellites this month. (Tonya W).
• Rubber bands are in the news. There are new uses for them. (Baba)

Pandemics/Health

• There is a new virus that originates from China ( Andrew Posey)
• RSV in the news. It is a bad month of cases. I feel short of breath. (Tonya W)
• Some beef is being recalled in the US. (Tonya W)

Floods/Snow/Rain

• There is another large snowstorm in the U.S. (Baba)
• There is flooding in Alice Springs, possibly from the remnants of a cyclone. (Baba)
• Flooding in U.S. Snow melt and extra precipitation causing issues. (CC21)
• Heavy rains in the Pacific Northwest. Flooding ensues. (Tonya W)
• I see rain across large portions of the country.Big rainstorms turn to slush and ice and make a big mess of things.  (Dannyboy)
• Driving rains have me a bit nervous. The wetlands are filling up quickly and there is concern about flooding. (Jeanne Mayell)

• Wild bunnies in the news. I see them eating grass. (Seaholly)

• There is an outbreak of rabies in the wild boar population of the US. (Andrew Posey)

Earth & Climate

• Spring is arriving with all its loveliness. The earth springs eternal.  I am excited to start planting, although there is still some snow on the ground in Eastern Massachusetts. (Jeanne Mayell)
• I hear small bells ringing, like a wind chime twirling in the wind. Spring is coming. (Seaholly)
