Jack Smith asked the Supreme Court to decide Trump's assertion of immunity from criminal prosecution for crimes in office. This feels momentous. If the High Court decides that Trump has no immunity, it would appear that a guilty verdict on either or both of the insurrection or documents trials could provide for the possibility of incarceration if Trump wins the election. I believe that one or two in our group have predicted that a legal decision made during this month or next will affect Trump's future. Could the decision from the Court have significant impact on the 2024 election?
