@jaidy  Usually it is best to give the Universe a lot of latitude in how to help you solve your problems.  Asking the universe to produce specific conversations is too limiting---- don't tie its hands.

Get down to the essence of your desire (eg, being free, safe, and happy) and let the Universe work out how to make that happen.  The Higher Power knows more than you do and may make things work out even more easily and with a better result than you can imagine.

Thank you- I do feel like there are multiple ways this could resolve positively and I have no idea which to choose so I have mostly been going with the universe is balancing this karma and we will soon be safe happy and free but a lot of the visualization stuff I have been reading online talks about seeing yourself and feeling all the sense and hearing the lawyer/judge give you the news…

@jaidy I would suggest not even focusing on balancing the karma.

Balancing the karma is the Higher Power's  job,  and it will see to it.  That is the natural order of things. It may not happen in this lifetime, even, but it will happen.

  The Biblical quote is "Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord".

Keep faith, and ask most of all for your safety, happiness, and freedom to be obtained and for everything to manifest for the highest good of all--- even your ex.

If he's got to learn a lesson the hard way, then so be it.  If it seems he's getting off easy-- again, so be it, but rest assured karma will end up being balanced whether you realize it or not.

I used that phrase because my spirit guide told me that this was an opportunity for the universe to balance the karma. But they said that nothing is decided and that I shouldn’t be afraid of any outcome. This is very hard when my children are in harms way, I was told that I needed to protect them but also that I was here to teach them that they need to learn to protect themselves when with him and find their voices. My older daughter is outspoken and tells him but at the cost of severe anxiety but my younger is scared and shuts down… so I sometimes pray for her to find her voice in this.

having said that I like your phrase and will use that. In addition I absolutely want the best for my ex, I have empathy for him and no bitterness- without him I never would have understood my value and that was a life lesson I came here for… I just want us to be free.

@jaidy, I'm going to throw in an additional request you should make of the Universe-ask the Universe to let you understand how to accept their choice. I've been in a somewhat similar situation, and visualizing the outcome with specificity, I got stuck. I'd hope for and expect a certain outcome, and was frustrated when it didn't come as I'd envisioned. So, like @ana says, ask for them to provide the highest and best for all concerned, and then ask them to allow you to understand and accept the results. Then let go and let God (or the universe, the Force, whatever your belief system is).

I've seen many times in my life when I wondered "what was that", only to understand eons later the reason things happened the way they did. Taking my hands off and letting things be, after doing my best (like keeping my youngest in therapy for over a decade) wasn't easy when I sometimes wondered if the universe was asleep at the wheel. But then finally one day, out of the blue, I'd see Karma in action. I didn't have to do it, the universe and the ex did it all without my help. Seeing Karma being reaped helped me to understand, I don't have to see it for it to actually happen. It helped me learn that unless it's my Karmic debt that's involved, I just need to trust the heavens to do their thing and know I'll only be involved if they decide it's needed.

My best role was being there to provide a touch stone and a good foundation for my child. If they stumbled, took the wrong path, or didn't see the inappropriate behaviors of their father at the time, as they matured, they did see it in hindsight. They also saw that I was there, unwavering in my support for them and their well-being.

@cindy my spirit guide told me it was better if they were protected and didn’t have overnights until they were older but that they also came here to understand their father and to learn to use their voice and speak up for themselves. I’m aware of past lives where we were together and in similar circumstances with him- my oldest left to protect herself and I didn’t. she’s really good at not being in victim energy for now but very anxious the world isn’t listening to her and no one will protect her . So I accept that the girls came here to learn to use their voices to protect themselves.

@jaidy, I hear you. I was introduced to Dr. Brian Weiss before I knew of his work. It was the opportunity I needed to be introduced to past life connections and how they can effect our current lives. If you aren't familiar with his works as they are older, I'd suggest starting at the beginning- Many Lives, Many Masters. The cliff notes version is that we reincarnate with souls we've spent previous lifetimes with, repeating the patterns until we learn how to correct them.

@jaidy Hi Jaidy,

this isn’t a thought of a spiritual kind more of the mundane kind. I don’t know the ages so it may not be appropriate. Have you thought perhaps as a family you do something together like karate, judo type of sport and perhaps a self defence course. This might give you more confidence in yourselves and your abilities to be strong and having that confidence in yourselves may help more in coping and dealing with the father. You may not feel so defenceless and scared.
Just a thought and you will at least know how to knee him in the balls and that visualisation might get you through.

Regards

I think that's a good suggestion.  Even a person *not* in a stressful situation can benefit from the self-discipline and confidence imparted by the study of martial arts.  At its most basic, martial arts are a moving meditation, good exercise, and yeah-- you have the bonus of knowing you have tools to escape and/or fight back should a tricky situation arise.

@matildagirl haha that’s a good idea for my youngest whose 6 she’s super physical and even probably confidence for my 9 year old. Thanks I will see what is offered around here.

and @cindy I did read another author who seems like wrote v similar books - the idea is the same anyway and I learned that this lifetime was about not being a victim and helping my daughter learn to use her voice.

@matildagirl @Jaidy Along these lines, if it is available in your locale I have seen equine therapy also be very helpful for children even as young as 5 (and adults)  for establishing boundaries, assertiveness/standing up for oneself, etc.

I've been taking stabs at visualizing and manifesting (or trying to) for decades, but I've found the most useful practice, for me, is to ask for the highest good and release to a merciful and loving creator. Make your wishes known, then ask for the most beneficial outcome. To me, that brings me the most immediate sense of peace.

Hi there, I wonder if anyone knows what it means to have a lot of spirits around them (about 100)? Are some of those spirits bad? Does the person need extra help? Thank you!

@jewels - 2 can you elaborate?

Your question reminded me of an incident from when I was a hospice nurse. My dying patient looked at me and clearly said, "You have your entire family around you right now. I can see them. They are important." Some might say it was delirium but I chose to see it as a great gift.

So, I think it can be a good thing.

@jewels-2 When I have taught classes to "read" people's heirlooms, the room would fill up with spirits, more than I ever though could be around people.  I've taught this class online, and many times in person, and the same thing happens-- by the time we are finished reading everyone's heirlooms, I realize the room is filled with spirits.  I begin having waking, eyes-opened, visions of  spirits all around us.  It's like a spirit party.  They felt loving, happy, caring and it felt like our reading their possessions brought them back en masse.

Really wish I lived close enough to go to one of your classes in person; I am in possession of a musical instrument, hand made by a distant ancestor who lived in western Kentucky. I would love to know which ancestor (my mother didn’t know; it was already quite old by the time of her memory) but more, I would love to know what impelled somebody who was without a doubt working very hard with few resources just to keep body and soul together in the wilds of newly settled Kentucky, to create and presumably play such a complex and difficult instrument.

@2ndfdl Oh, I should have explained that I don't have in person classes any more. But when I did this heirloom class on zoom, we all had the same experience as I'd had in perosn.  It was quite amazing.

Lately, I did a quick reading of myself and discovered something significant would happen to me this coming March while I will be physically at JFK international airport by April. When I delve deeper, I heard a voice saying that I will receive an apprenticeship invitation.

Are readings on oneself accurate and reliable?

@enkasongwriter

I think it depends on how the reading/prediction happens.  Our emotions can play a part for sure.  If we WANT something to happen when we throw cars we may LOOK for the positive in the cards to go with what we want.  Same with a pendulum, we can influence the swing.  I find the most accurate "self' predictions just come out of nowhere or are ones where I feel the energy.

@lowtide I like your story about your patient! Hospice workers must see and hear a lot of this type of thing. The 100 spirits (her estimate) is from my daughter’s new friend who said she saw them all around me. (There is also a friendly blue orb who watches over my daughter.) This sounded nice, but I worry there might be some bad energy in there, or that they are there out of a specific coming concern. I figured I might have one or two guides, and I chat with them every day. For awhile now I have seen 11:11 and other repeating numbers all the time.
