Wonderful news @unk-p. Never underestimate the power of prayer.
Wow, thanks for all the love, you guys. The reason i posted about it, was that i sensed that a lot of us were feeling disappointed and disgusted about current events. But miracles really can happen. One morning, we may wake up, and, ...POOF !
^ i meant to change ''you guys'' to ''you all'', not change it to green color, lol. Didn't notice until it was too late
So glad you shared this wonderful news!! We all need it, for sure. :)
I had a thought this morning as well about the current state of the world and all the news of late: hold steady. It is even harder to do, but if we all just keep living our light and doing what we are doing and hold steady, we will get to the other side of this. And your good news is such a burst of light. Yay!
Whoa! That’s fantastic! I’ll be sending more healing energy to your father so that he can finally come home. Hospitals are awful places.
You did email me some of that.
What wonderful news! I am so very happy for you both. It’s so good of you to share this with us. I have the biggest smile as I write this. Much love to you and your Dad.
Thank you @bluebelle, @coyote, @cc21, and everyone!
Something interesting happened today- a man that my father has never met before, came to his hospital room and gave him a bottle of holy water from Lourdes. He drank it.
I thought I would revive this thread because we know that focusing on things we are grateful for can truly affect our well being. Many of us who have taken one of Jeanne's classes have been encouraged to bring gratitude into our daily lives.
I am hoping to grow a garden of gratitude here in our community by listing 5 things each day for which I am grateful. Please join in and we can all focus on the blessings and positive things we notice in our lives, even tiny ones. If we do this for a week, I bet we create a beautiful garden.
5 things I am grateful for today.
-my dog who brings joy and love to our hearts each day
-the sweet little humming bird in my back yard who manages to flutter about in desert summer heat day after day
-our community members here who continuously rise up to offer love, support and care to their fellow tribe members
-the joy that both of my daughters feel in bringing plants into their homes
-being able to turn on the faucet and have clean flowing water instantly
I'm grateful for @lovendures!
The power of gratitude is a positive and moving force in my life. I focus on major gratitude for our surviving the big things that have been happening in my and my family's lives. But i am immensely grateful for each and every smallest of blessings during this time as they are all the more precious because of all that is happening now.
I am grateful that no one in my family has the virus as many of us are high risk. I am grateful that I've been able to finally see all of my grandchildren after not having that possibility for 3 months for one family and 4 months for the other due to family members working as essential workers in high risk situations. I only have 2 close family members i haven't seen for 6 1/2 months but may this month.
I am grateful and that even though i average 4 hours of sleep a night I have been blessed with a very large amount of energy that became part of my life's work of being able to help others.
And after 6 weeks of hard work (and 50 years of saving family momenentos!) i have them all carried down pull-down stairs and i have almost all of them cleaned, organized and put into storage bins bins and crates. And I managed to "give up" a huge trailer load delivered to a recycling station for materials or item recycling. I won't be done until the end of September but it's getting almost there!
And I am grateful that in 70 years i cannot ever remember being bored, or not having something no matter how tiny or silly, to look forward to each and every day.
My life has been filled with challenges but its been a wonderful one that has gifted me more than it has taken away.
