A light post about intuition. I know there are many intuitively talented people who follow this blog but for those of us on the amateur side:

I have become increasingly amused by my performance in solving the NYT Wordle game. In addition to some simple strategies, I have urges regarding which letters to try and now, occasionally, I just hit on the answer on the second or third try. The helpful part about Wordle is that I get instant feedback on whether my intuition was correct or not.

I seem to do better when I sort of blur, or step back from intense brain work, and take a soft, distant perspective, for want of a better description, sort of like waiting for the answer to rise in the old 8 Ball game, for those who remember it.  Now, learning to generalize this technique, and most importantly, trusting it, from Wordle to more important activities and decisions....

Experience has taught me that sometimes urges are actually messages (from who knows where?) And sometimes my imagination is intuition; separating the wheat from the chaff is the challenge.

Have you heard of the Telepathy Tapes?

This is a wonderful podcast ( I listened on YouTube ) about   severely Autistic children who have amazing intuitive/ physics abilities including telepathy.  I encourage you to listen. There is so much for us to understand about consciousness and how we connect with one another.  It may open a whole new world to you. It certainly will give you a new perspective of children with severe  autism.  You will likely find yourself pondering all sorts of questions about the universe, your spiritual gifts , consciousness, and telepathy.

As a regular RTF participant, I found myself really connecting with the information given. I understand more about how messages are come to me and have new questions to ponder.   Each episode gets better and better. I highly recommend it!

Who would benefit from listening to the telepathy tapes? Well, anyone who finds themselves on Jeanne’s site  would likely get a lot out of the podcasts.

@lovendures Yes! I actually posted about them on a different thread here a few weeks ago when I finished the tapes. Amazing stuff! And yes, totally reminded me of the things we talk about here.

@raincloud I love that you use that wordle game to test your intuition. Ha ha.  I want to try it. To step back and let your mind go into a blur is a real technique for getting out the monkey mind, and more into the creative and thus intuitive mind.

@lovendures the Telepathy Tapes are on my to do list. I cannot wait. I know my dog is telepathic.  When she wants something, she comes over to me and just looks at me, not averting her eyes or blinking for, seriously, five or ten minutes.

@jeanne-mayell

Ha! Yes, and encouragingly, I am getting better at it.  @Lovendures, I too, was going to post about the Telepathy Tapes. The first episode was fascinating! The mind-reading stories were unlike anything I have ever heard. It inspired me to be braver in the intuitive realm.

For myself, I have always been psychic. I pluck words out of other peoples minds right before they say them. I have had all sorts of visions, particularly of heaven, before being medicated. I am realizing that the disorders I have could well be doors to intuition. Like autism, bipolar disorder was a channel to psychic abilities.

When I was sick with pnuemonia, I heard a celestial choir and some audio messages from strangely familiar voices directing me to seek help, as I stubbornly tried to heal myself. Spirit spoke directly in my ear. That got me to go to the hospital.

Perhaps I can harness these intuitive pieces without illness, more and more.

I do feel connected to the past. I always have had an affinity for gypsies as a child. My mom sewed me a costume.  Many years later I found out that there are gypsies, minstrels, and cantors  in my family lineage.

I feel being psychic is a special thing. It has scared me sometimes and saved me other times. I feel much of this abilty comes from the psychics who came before me in my family and ancestors. I am open to this energy.

It's a bridge connecting us. And it's a bridge connecting me to all around me.
