MAS, you may well be right, though I very much hope your words "sacrificial lamb" signify no resonance to anyone planning an incident in her future. There's far too much hatred out there. Either way, it's a good time to send her a little more light.
When I've listened to Abrams speaking, I can feel MLK's energy close. He preached in Atlanta but even if he hadn't, I feel that she and all of Georgia are being strongly supported by their ancestors—men and women who suffered through a dark time in America's history and who've gathered to assist their descendants in its repair.
I just did a double Celtic Cross spread asking whether she will be sworn in as governor of Georgia in 2019. Because there are so many cards, plus clarifiers, I'll just give some of the highlights.
Brian Kemp (King of Cups, manipulator, dark waters) has obviously been up to no good. It looks like he's had some support from overseas in that endeavor (Two of Wands - in this deck the figure is looking out over the ocean and holding a globe that appears to depict the eastern hemisphere). A lot of people have been feeling robbed (Seven of Swords) and left out in the cold (Five of Pentacles) as a result.
In the short-term this race may become bound up in a legal quagmire. The Hanged Man in the near future position suggests a period of delay while both sides appear to battle it out. This may end in the courts, and it's possible from this reading that the FBI is called to weigh in (possibly with NSA intel?)
Manipulation will be unveiled, however, as both the King of Swords and the Justice card appear. The top of the reading was clarified by the Star card—hope.
The card in the final outcome position is the Page of Cups—a creative new opportunity, a trusting and helpful energy. News of a "birth."
Temperance is at the bottom of the deck. We're called to draw on our patience and higher wisdom.
Jessi,
I'm reading your link (thanks!) and haven't even gotten to the bit about Don Jr. yet because THIS nonsense:
“Everyone is resigned to the outcome,” a former West Wing official said. Sources said Trump has been privately working to absolve himself of any blame if indeed a blue wave washes over Washington. “He’s happy with his crowds and the turnout and the excitement. He’ll be able to say it would have been worse without him,” the former official said.
Ugh.
Jeanne, thanks for introducing us to Randy Rainbow.
He has one for today about voting. Thought you might like it.

I am posting this here because it is about the midterm elections.
Voting. Specifically in Arizona.
OMG. So. Many. Issues. Once. Again.
Can't we have an election that is smooth? We used to have them.
I dropped off my mail in ballot today as I had not mailed it in before the 6 day deadline. I had NO problem dropping it in the mail -in ballot box at my local polling place. Yea for me!
And now for the rest of the story. When I arrived, I noticed a small group of people standing around or sitting in chairs inside the local church which was the polling place. I heard quiet discussion that nobody could vote. I asked for the mail-in voting box, no problem. Was able to drop it off with no issue. Upon leaving I asked a poll worker what the issue was for those trying to vote the regular way. Apparently at some point in the late morning, all polling locations were asked to update their software. ( WHY????). After which, systems went down, county wide. The county was saying it was a "glitch" and a "slowdown". Ummmm not at my polling place. It was a full stop. For close to 30 minutes as of the time I left. They said it was the same for nearby locations. A full stop.
Other issues reported at other locations in our state today.
Running out of ballots before 11:00. Other electronic issues causing some locations to only allow provisional ballots.
And this one is the winner. A Chandler golf course polling location was foreclosed upon OVERNIGHT. AFTER all of the polling equipment was inside for Election Day. When workers arrived this morning, it was padlocked with a foreclosure notice on the door. So, nobody could vote. They eventually told voters to go to a nearby "operating" polling place. Unfortunately, that place was not up and running because of equipment issues. They eventually opened a temporary polling station in the golf course parking lot I believe.
So, how is it going in your neck of the woods???
There is a Glorious rainbow over the US Capitol right now! THAT must be a sign.
Lovendures - please report what's going on in you county at 3 sites:
or call from the polling place: 1.866.OUR.VOTE - for immediate assistance
These groups are keeping track.
Thanks for the info Laura.

Virginia state Sen. Jennifer Wexton has defeated two-term Republican Rep. Barbara Comstock to win a hotly contested race to in Virginia's 10th District, according to NBC News.
The race was the first House seat of the evening to flip from a Republican to a Democrat, and it was widely viewed as a barometer of Democrats' potential strength. The results were called early in the evening, after Wexton posted a double digit lead over Comstock across large swaths of the district.
My state of Colorado just elected Jared Polis, the first openly gay governor in the nation. I am so proud!
Ocasio-Ortez youngest women to be elected for us congress best part she from my state of NY !!!!
Democrats take control of the house!!! Woop Woop ? as my children will say
Two Native American women, Sharice David and Deb Haaland from NM win. Davids is from Kansas, gay, and a former MMA fighter. First Muslim women Radhida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar win. Omar is Somali American who came here a a refugee two decades ago. Texas projected to send two Hispanic women to Congress. Veronica Escobar and Sylvia Garcia.
Kris Kobach in Kansas defeated. Scott Walker gone.
America! That's what I'm talking about!
I am a little disappointed at the total election returns. I am grateful that the House is Blue and somany of the Governorships were flipped. I think this goes along the lines of the prediction that the states will start to take more of a leadership role. Unfortunetly I live in Kentucky which is better known as McConnell's sewer. We have one of the lowest education ratings and the highest count of teenage pregnancies in the country. Unfortunetly the majority of Kentuckians are proud of that. They are still sitting waiting for the mango moron and the turtleman to openup the coal mines so they can die a slow painful death from black lung. The water in the eastern part of the state is not only undrinkable but is not suitable for bathing. Yet these people still vote straight Republican.
I am disappointed in Florida but I think this will be the states undoing. Their tourism industry is being ruined by their state govenment and that is going to hurt big time. A friend went on vacation there a few weeks ago and ended up leaving early because the beaches were a mess. I also think that the election there was ta mpered with. It hppened before and it wouldn't surprise me if it happened again.
I decided to do something positive today to counter act my anger so I donated to Dare to Care for the Thanksgiving dinner program. It's sad to realize that so many people in our country are going without so that the rich 1% can have it all. Oh well I need to tke a break from all this but I don't know just how yet
Oh yeah! One other bright point to bring joy about the mid-terms. Kim Davis, that stupid little twit, who made national news for refusing to issue marriage licenses to gay couples due to here deep religious views (cough, she's been married 4 times and her kids were all bornout of wedlock) LOST TO A GAY MAN. He was one of the people she refused to issue a license to. Karma is a bitch!
Yogagirl,
I saw that she lost and could not be more happy. I love how they say they are religious and how wonderful they think they are and then you find out about her that she has been married so many time and all her kids out of wedlock. A lot of people use religion to cover their racism.
Tbis is a great time for the gay community no matter what Pence and the GOP has done to harm them they still have the support of the community. To the first openly gay governor in Colorado to Kim losing to a Gay man this makes me so happy. As a mother to a young child who is Bi-Sexual my love for him has never wavered not even for a second. I am so happy for this. This gives me some comfort that it’s not all bad for this new generation.
On the bright side they lost the HOUSE!!! Can you imagine all the fun things that are going to happen. The Democrats are not longer powerless in both houses. We have been heard. Not as loud as we wanted but we have been heard.
