@ghandigirl Thank you. They've put April on some heavy-duty IV antibiotics so hopefully that will help at least some component of her illness. Reports from others say she is in good spirits, welcomes visitors, but "doesn't want to hear an hour-long report about your grandchildren". LOL She is a very frank, honest good-hearted person who suffers no BS. 😊 I find that refreshing.
Back again asking for support. Sent to see an ENT for vocal chord dysfunction. Got an earlier wait listed appointment for the mornIng of April 22nd.
I am quietly terrified.
It's hard to teach when I have this intermitten hoarseness, and hard to not be able to sing and perform.
