@jeanne-mayell I'll send along prayers for your friend and her family. So sorry.

@journeywithme2 It is hard watching adult children falter. I still deal with it with my youngest. They too have some issues with alcohol. However, not being attuned to the 12-step programs or belief in God (or other higher powers), they find that Smart Recovery works better for them than AA. There are yet other support groups available as well. Sending hugs.

@cindy Thank you Cindy.... I will give him that info as well!!! It takes finding what help resonates with you for it to work doesn't it. I once told a family member that made fun of me for my belief in God/Creator/Higher Power and pooh poohed my NDE that it doesn't matter if you believe in or not for Creator believes in you. (Not my son..He KNOWS)  Don't know why I told them that... but that is what popped in my head at that time. They are currently learning karma is real... whether they believe in it or not.

@jeanne-mayell

Been thinking about you and Lemonia and the powerful love that emanates from you whenever you say or write her name. It's tangible, palpable. This poem came to mind as I read your post. Love enfolds her. Angels will sing her across the passage and loved ones will greet her with garlands of Light. ❤️ 🌼

The peaks of clouds are
Mounting in the sky
To race the dart of sun;
And wheeling gulls make
Chutes of morning air
Over the moving sea.
Not even what we love
Stands still.
And we are breath and
Light and reach;
Our pulses leap
With bursting song.
The winds are music
In our voice;
The reaching, our desire.

The manner in which I receive the easiest communication from Spirit for me is by songs.  Like for many of you, I believe. Feeling tense about the election the past couple of days - this song was offered to me - I interpret it as life is so hard right now but - “take my hand - we're halfway there - living on a prayer”.  Vote and Pray 🙏. Following that song - I received Bob Marley - “ don’t worry about a thing - cause every little thing is gonna be alright” ❤️

@emmi Thank you for the songs and I love how you get your intuition. Your songs are healing for us all, and we need it. And Welcome to the Forum!  If you get more songs playing in your head like ear worms, you can post them here or in Random Predictions.  Best wishes to you!

@emmi

Welcome to the forum, so nice to have you join us.

As a fellow community member who frequently gets ear worms and messages from Spirit through song, I am so happy you shared yours with us today.  Both are very encouraging!  I have gotten that Bob Marley song a number of times over the past few year and it have been such a great message.

Hello all!  Me again with a new request.  I became an uncle again on Monday.  My sister in law had a troubled second pregnancy with lots of health issues creeping in.  Because her blood pressure was so high, and the baby was measuring a few weeks ahead of where he should be, they induced labor and he was born just after midnight on Tuesday.  He was fine until he wasn't - he started having some breathing issues and they took him to the NICU.

Since then he's continued to have breathign episodes.  It's included a spike and fall in heart rate now too.  They've done X-rays, CT Scans, and an EKG to look for seizures and answers and today he's scheduled for some uper GI exploration and an MRI.  Greatest Wife Ever has been down with her sister since Monday and has been keeping me in updates (she's spent almost as much time in hospital waiting rooms this year as she's spent OUT of hospital waiting rooms)

If you're able, please send some light and love to baby Nico, a new soul who has just joined us who is already in need of some light and prayers!

@dannyboy 🙏🏻💜💚🪽🙌🪽💚💜🙏🏻

Having had two preemies and a coworker who had micro preemies .... know this ... these little ones are incredible warriors and survivors. The advances in NICU care are amazing in the 36 years since mine were NICU occupants.

Sending much Light,Love and supporting Energy to the Highest Good of All Concerned.

Here is a post I hope uplifts some spirits.

First - We're still waiting on answers on baby Nico but - mom has been discharged and Greatest Wife Ever (my wife's nickname) is still with her helping out and being moral support.  No word on what the MRI results are but he's getting stronger, eating, and is reported as being "the best cuddler on record" so these are all good signs.

I wanted to share a photo here I think many in the forum could use right now.  I do not consider myself inspiring or inspirational because of the liver donation journey from the last year, because I did what I truly believe anyone would do if faced with the same opportunity to help a fellow father, a family member, or person in your sphere if they needed something to live and you had it to give.  No matter what's happening in our often twisted world, I deeply believe that the bulk of us are good people trying to figure out how to move through this messy thing called life.  (Please note I said "the bulk of us" which does, in fact, leave room for some of those bathed in the darkness)

Yesterday, for the first time since we walked into Henry Ford Hospital together at 4:30 in the morning on April 22nd, "K" and I were together in a place where neither of us were in hospital beds.  He and I spent nearly 3 hours in a coffee shop in our shared hometown just talking.  One story in particular resonated with me in a way that gave me so much hope.

Two weeks before the surgery, the local news ran a story on us.  The reporter was a former student of mine who I knew by one name and gender, but took that opportunity to reveal they're now a different name and a different gender.  I instantly smiled, congratulated her on her bravery, and wrapped her in the biggest hug I've ever given. K is not used to these sorts of things - he wasn't surrounded by people like her most of his life.  His religious upbringing generally would have had him thinking differently than me on this front.  I could tell he was a little ... not taken aback, but surprised and contemplative.  He told me at coffee yesterday that having never given much of a passing thought to transgenderism, he would not have handled things the way he saw me handle them before that moment - but he would now because when he saw me smile at her, and wrap her in that hug, he realized it was just the right thing to do.  There was a human who had been through so much who should be treated with dignity and respect, and should someone ever come out to him - he now knows how to react.

We all make some ripples here and there with our words and deeds and while it's a big ass pond we're all swiming in those ripples cause other ripples.

These ripples are the ones I want to spend the next few months looking for as I continue to silence MSM to get away from the noise.

@dannyboy I read and lurk and hardly reply. I’ve followed your inspiring journey for months. I don’t recall if you ever posted a pic before, but this is the first I remember. You look in your photo as you do in my minds eye. That’s rare, but not as rare as your generosity and compassion. Thanks for showing the way.
