Our sweet boy came home late last night. He is doing well, on 3 meds, 2 for pain and an antibiotic and finally decided to eat a few minutes ago. He is doing well and is letting me give hime love. We are grateful.
@lovendures I am so sorry this happened. Glad your sweet boy can be home and loved on by you all. I remember seeing him in the circle of light meditations - such a sweet sweet pooch! Sending you all much healing and love.
@febbby23 How is your family doing now?
So sad to hear of the passing of Betty White. She was 99.
@ana status quo. At least the kids are doing ok and my son in law’s pneumonia hasn’t gotten worse. Grateful for all of it. Thanks for asking. Happy new year. ?
I can hardly walk without support anymore, which I think is just a continuation of weakness and mobility related symptoms that began in 2020. I’m thinking more about mortality now than at any point since I was severely depressed 5 years ago.
I’m experiencing a Kafka-esque phenomenon where the closer I get to my February surgery, the more obstacles seem to crop up. I’m glad the holidays are over; the split-screen tension between the holiday merriment and my current situation was getting to be too tiresome.
@coyote I am so sorry you are going though this. I don’t know what else to say except that it makes me sad and my heart hurts for you. I don’t know you personally but because of this site, I feel I do know you. I pray that all will be healed for you and that you will be a part of this group for many years to come. ❤️
I hate to hear about the obstacles and wish we could flatten them for you. From previous posts I know that your medical condition is complex and that you have become experienced navigating the medical system but I hope that, if you don't feel up to it, you have a fierce health advocate in your life who will press providers to meet your needs quicker than planned, if need be. With COVID burdens on hospitals, I know that is a long shot but I can wish it for you, nonetheless.
sending supportive and healing energy....
My neurologist assessed me yesterday to see if we needed to speed up the timeline. He was reassured that I do not need an earlier surgery, and I am reassured by that judgement. The procedure I’m undergoing can’t be rushed in to. In fact I have a number of medical appointments this month as prep for next month.
