@luminous Hi, I guess one good thing about living in the UK is you can hop on a train in London and be somewhere in Europe a couple of hours later and spend a lovely weekend in a pretty area and recharge the batteries before going back to the crap there. It won’t have changed anything in the Uk but it may help you.

Best wishes

I would like to send angels, prayers and healing to @luminous who posted in another thread that his health was bad and he was dispirited by the political situation in the U.K.

Thank you @Jeanne-mayell

I am just feeling down at the moment.

I have been mentally, physically and spiritually finding these past few months hard - not just with the situation of my health and the political environment in the UK, but also because of the issues happening with my family.

My dad is still recovering from the brain bleeds he had several months ago, and even though he has been making a good recovery, we are still finding his mood very up and down - especially on the anti-seizure medications he is on.

My eldest sister is also struggling with her 18-month old son who has suspected Autism and is finding it difficult to manage this as he is behind on some of his development. We are all trying our best to support her and him together as a family.

My youngest sister is also dealing with her own health issues with Endometriosis, and is waiting to undergo a big surgery to remove some of it soon. She has been unable to conceive for several years because of this, and it has taken its toll on her on many levels.

Meanwhile my mum is trying to support and help all of us in the best she can, but it is difficult.

With regards to my health, I am still disabled and without treatment for the neurological condition affecting me. I am due to have a CT Myelogram to try and better understand this, but I keep losing faith as I have had so many setbacks and this has affected me.

I'm just trying to take each day at a time, but some days can be really hard.

Thanks all.

@luminous I’m sorry to hear about all the issues troubling you.  That’s a lot for anyone to bear.  Maybe writing down all your cares and worries is a step closer to healing your worried mind.  May you have a pleasant day knowing that your friends are thinking about you with compassion.  May your worries lift from your shoulders and you feel a new sense of hope and serenity.  May you be able to savor moments of unexpected joy.  I am praying for you and sending you healing and love.  Be at peace, my friend.

PRAYERS NEEDED

Hi all - I need a small amount of good energy. Long story short my husband has come down with COVID after our jaunt to Seattle last weekend (he's never as careful as I am). He's picking up some Paxlovid today, and says it's like a bad cold, so he'll be fine.

I remain asymptomatic and antigen test negative, but I REALLY need to get to my new primary physician appointment on Monday. I booked it 6 months ago (soonest I could get with any doctor), and if I'm sick will have to rebook. This not only further delays much needed testing and care I have put off since 2020, it will also kabosh the foot surgery that I havve been putting off for 20 years that is scheduled for December. The foot doc wants a full physical and medical clearances before end of November, and if I have to rebook the next available for the PCP is February, which means cancelling it yet again and probably not being able to book the surgery til June of next year (because the surgeon also books 5 months out).

If I wake up sick on Tuesday I can work with that - I just have to get through Monday. Bear in mind I had COVID early on (Jan 2020) and have had 4 vaccinations (3 Pfizer + 1 Moderna this past April). Fingers crossed?

Send a good vibe, a prayer, a thought, whatever works for you.

Please, thank you, and namastè.

COVID update:  Hubby is recovering well, we are just monitoring for rebound infection. My PCR test was negative and we are both testing negative this week at home.

I continue to push all precautions, but Mr. Bella is chafing at them, to say the least... As my daughter would say "So sad, too bad."

I did make it to the new doc, who I don't like, but got what I needed from her, so proceeding towards long delayed foot surgery in December.

@jeanne-mayell

wanted to share a miraculous update. Little Zohaib is moving into a rehab center. He’s learning to smile, talk, and move. He still has a ways to go. No one can explain how he has made it this far. Angels and prayers have truly helped him as there is no doubt divine intervention is occurring. Thank you for all of your prayers. Please continue to send reiki light to his brain. Prayer can move mountains.

@smacgoldstein84   This is wonderful.  I think about this child rather frequently. He is very young, with a malleable brain.  With a little help from Spirit, he should make it.

Prayers for all of our UK friends and and those who are part of the British Commonwealth during this time of morning.   Prayers for the members of the British Royal family.

May the memory and legacy of Queen Elizabeth II be a blessing for the world and for the people she was a monarch for.

Here is a a schedule for services and events over the next 10 days for the response of Queen Elizabeth.

I am in awe after reading the detailed and exceptional actions taking place every day for the next 10 days.  They are expecting what could be millions of people gathering to pay tribute. I encourage you to read about the services and the historic process which is about to take place.

The details are incredible, including how many times the church bells will ring and how many seconds will elapse between each ring.  The same for Big Ben. Same with the firing of the military gun salutes.

Here is just 2 examples of the precise timing of details:

On Monday, the queen’s coffin will leave St. Giles’ Cathedral by car before it is transferred to a royal train, which will travel slowly overnight to London, sent off with a rendition of the national anthem. As the train passes into England, the Scottish standard is replaced with the royal standard.

On Saturday at 11 a.m. exactly, the pallbearers will stop at the Grave of the Unknown Warrior and Big Ben will strike just once to mark a national two-minute silence.

You should read what takes place on Wednesday...

I will say this about having Covid, I am ridiculously grateful for the smallest things, like making my boyfriend's lunch every night and watching tv in the "safe" room I had to avoid.

Although I often feel free floating anxiety, and today was no exception, I am also feeling that this experience has weirdly enriched me. My biggest fear health wise was catching this damn disease and I, lucky lucky, me , had what the doctor called the mildest case she has seen. I believe I survived it because I was insistent that they give me that fourth booster. "Mildly immunocompromised" is an oxymoron- perhaps developed by a moron.

I also had my anxiety to thank for helping me learn how to be super vigilant against the virus and how to clean effectively.

It lasted 14 days but I feel so much better now and even more aware of how healthy I actually am, and how blessed.

Hi all,

I'm asking for prayers not for a human being, but for a live oak tree in my back yard. This tree–which an arborist has estimated is about 200 years old–appears to have developed symptoms of oak wilt, a disease that is rampant in Central Texas, where I live, and for which there is as yet no cure.

An arborist is coming to examine the tree, but if oak wilt is indeed confirmed, death of the tree can happen within 3-6 months or sooner.

This would be devastating news, as this tree has protected our family for almost 20 years. It harbors so much wildlife and is almost like family to us, if that makes sense.

I know that there are many problems out there in the world, but if you could send some prayers to our beloved tree, I would be so grateful.

It would be worth trying a root injection to boost its immune system. I have seen it save other trees with other problems. There are various types of nutrients one can inject. Arborists are not always specialists on tree diseases but they should know how to inject roots with immune boosters. Good luck?

@gbs I feel a special kinship with trees (just search me and trees in this thread and more posts than you'll ever want to read will come up!)  I am sending some energy to your mighty oak!

@gbs  ^what @dannyboy and  @raincloud said^ but also, to help your tree,  add compost, help the soil to recover.  Make sure your tree is not stressed out from famine or thirst, keep it reasonably watered, if possible.  Live Oaks def respond to a healthy ecosystem beneath them. I live in Houston, and Live Oaks are by far the most widely planted tree here.  But i can see that at least a third of them are slowly dying of that disease. This usually happens when there is too much of a monoculture. But they can hang on for years.

There is an Oak in my backyard that has had the disease for 12 years or more.  I am letting a small forest of other types of trees grow up around it, just in case. The other one, in the front yard, is doing great.  There is a lot of genetic variation among Live Oaks.

The hope would be to somehow nurse your tree along, until we find a cure.

I want to thank you for the prayers. My rheumatologist has a good grip on everything and I'm extremely thankful for prednisone!
