Well things aren't going well.
Tonight I am losing heart. Even with all the positive intent in the world, things can fall apart.
I have been trying so hard for so long to keep it all together. It is humbling and scary to feel like there is no plan.
I just don't understand why it has to be so hard.
Maybe tomorrow I'll have better news.
Light, love, and peace to you @Ghandigirl - you are loved and supported by many here. I'll send you some light and hope your outlook changes quickly!
Sending you a lot of love and a big hug.
May you feel lighter and hopeful. May you know that angels are with you, even when you can't feel them. May you know that you are loved by many here and by higher beings. May kindness find you and may you find kindness and love for yourself. Always.
Thank you. Much love to you. Thank you friends.
I actually wasn't mood swinging... it was a very tense time of toxic issues and also waiting and jumping through hoops but today I have four beautiful words:
The house is ours!
@ghandigirl oh good for you. Best of luck and love. Peace, health and happiness always ????
John posted on Twitter this morning. He is doing well! The great progressive pastor John Pavlovitz is having surgery for a brain tumor tomorrow and I hope you all will join me in praying for him. I know he’s been mentioned on our site. Pavlovitz is a social activist and writer and you can read some of his essays here: https://johnpavlovitz.com/ May his surgery be successful and may he continue his much needed ministry.
@tybin I just saw John Pavlovitz’s post on Twitter-what wonderful news!!! It sounds like his surgery went very well.
I just deleted a short sentence about what is going on at my job because even a vague description is too much information. Thoughts, prayers, good energy welcomed. Not personal about me.
I have a prayer request that I’d like everyone willing to keep on their radar for the foreseeable future.
a wonderful man, a pillar of our community whose wonderful wife I work with on the theater board for our local troupe has been diagnosed with stage four Pancreatic cancer. Pat is one of the most giving individuals in the world. He headed up our local United way until recently and is just one of those people who would bend over backwards to help anyone in need.
this hits hard for a lot of reasons, the biggest being that stage 4 pancreatic cancer was what took my dad back in 2003 as a college senior just four days before I graduated. It’s terrible - it’s hard to detect in the early stages and stage four is — not good. They’re exploring options. A lot of time has passed since 2003 and they are better at treating it now - but it’s still a very hard one to do much for. Please wrap Pat and his wife Sally in as much healing energy as you can send them. I’m just so sad as this sinks in.
