I managed to log in by going through my predictions membership but Jeanne I sent you an email. The regular log in page just keeps spinning the captcha

Community, We had a glitch for about 90 minutes today. I accidentally unchecked a box in the engine room that denied everyone access to the forum content.  Sorry about that!   It is fixed and we are all back in order. Thank you, @kathleen and @Jujubeans7050 for letting me know about the problem. If anyone notices any other issues in the forum, please send me a note via the contact form.

@jeanne-mayell Thanks for your quick response on this glitch! All is well now! I had not been lurking on your site for some time due to physical issues and other things, but I enjoy reading the forum and the predictions! THANKS!

@jsr78 There are no credit cards on the prediction page or anywhere on the website. When you buy a prediction membership on the website, it is handled entirely by Stripe or Paypal so no cc info is on the website. If you used Stripe to pay, the STRIPE keeps your card information and no one sees it, including me. If you used Paypal, then no one sees any credit card information ever.  It's in the Paypal system. If you have concerns, please reach out to me  using the contact form and, after I understand what you mean, I can help you. There are no glitches of this kind on the website.

Has anyone noticed that the 2024 US Presidential Election thread appears differently than the others? On my computer it does. The names of those posting don't appear to the left of the screen and the list of the other forums doesn't appear to the right. I've check other threads and they appear fine, except for this particular one.

The thread may have just gotten too long with 148 pages. I will close that thread and reopen a new one, and see if that helps. We also are getting quintuple the usual traffic on this site and that too may be contributing to the glitch.

If you want to post about the 2024 Election, use the new thread just opened for you. LMK if it is working properly.

Community, the post edit function is not working. Until our developer returns from vacation (October 15), please know you won't be able to edit your post once you hit <submit>.  Sorry about that!

The like” button has a mind of its own. It has decided it’s going to work in a new way now.

We've tried to fix it, but it does what it wants.

Originally you could only see the first three people who liked what you wrote and all the rest were incognito.

After a few years that button (I imagine) decided that people were paying too much attention to how many likes they were getting, so it started dragging his feet and you had to click six or seven times before it would register your "like."  That keeps people from getting a swelled head. I calculated once that if you had 200 likes, you’d only see 10 of them.

Now you can only see three likes TOTAL, but the names keep changing. So if three people have liked your post and I come along and click "like," the first person gets kicked off and my name goes in its place.

So if you wanna know who liked your post, keep checking back and over time you’ might see new names there.

I found this frustrating and tried in vain to fix it.  But nowI’m starting to like this like button. You’re never gonna get a swelled head about the number of clicks you get because you’ll never know how many clicks you got. But at least if you hang in there, The spirit in the like button will let you get a peek at a few of the names.
