@unk-p I thought it was "As the screw turns." I'm sure treason is on the table.

@april Mothers Against Greg Abbott are rocking it! I wanna get one of their t-shirts.Ā  But for me, it should read " 'Muthas Against Greg Abbott".Ā  Those women are gonna kick Greg's Assbutt to the kerb!

Even states like Texas have pockets of deep-blue democrats.Ā

Allyn, every major city in TX is blue, with the exception of Fort Worth. Houston (4th largest city in the US) is blue, Austin, DEEP blue, San Antonio, even Dallas, blue.Ā  The problem is all the small towns- the fact that land has more voting weight than people do, and the gerrymandering, voter suppression, corruption, and downright cheating. A big problem w TFG claiming election fraud, is that it makes it harder to take it seriously when the other side actually does cheat. I am convinced that Beto actually won against Ted Cruz last time. Just like in Kentucky, where, somehow, Moscow Mitch "won" re-election, despite all evidence to the contrary.

Ā But if TX were to actually secede, it would destroy itself- but would probably save America.Ā  It would mean no more republican presidents ever again! I just hope the rest of y'all would let the sane Texans stay on your couches when we bounce the hell outta this place. 🤠Ā

@unk-pĀ

Y'all are welcome here in the Golden State any time. Where I live now there are many Okie descendants, so it's not something new around here. And as for election fraud lies - that's the point of them, to undermine faith in the process.

@allyn

As always, well said - really appreciate your insights. I disagree only insofar as former MAGAts coming under any scrutiny. I believe there is so much infiltration throughout government, military, law enforcement, that scrutiny would be minimal at best and nothing close to the profiling Muslims have endured since 9/11. Hubby and I regularly wonder out loud when we will get a Truth & Reconciliation Commission here, as that would be the only way to put this all to rest for once and for all. My husband has also been trying to get a slogan going for years now - "Bring back the Whigs!", to no avail and probably for the best. 😉Ā

People are throwing around espionage on twitter. The FBI may have just caught him selling secrets, holy crap. He's definitely going to run in my opinion. They might have him dead to rights.Ā

Per the Washington Post: among the documents sought were documents about the US nuclear secrets.Ā

Was reminded today about that lady who is a straight up Chinese spy who was always hanging out at Meh-duh-Lago. I always presumed A Clodwork Orange was sharing stuff with her he shouldn't have been, and I would bet my pinkie toe that some of the docs were either copied or photographed for her to pass on to her government.

I have had this Walter Scott poem in my head constantly in the last few weeks when TFG would cross my mind. Little did I know that treason was the reason.

Breathes there the man, with soul so dead,
Who never to himself hath said,
This is my own, my native land!
Whose heart hath ne’er within him burn’d,
As home his footsteps he hath turn’d,
From wandering on a foreign strand!
If such there breathe, go, mark him well;
For him no Minstrel raptures swell;
High though his titles, proud his name,
Boundless his wealth as wish can claim;
Despite those titles, power, and pelf,
The wretch, concentred all in self,
Living, shall forfeit fair renown,
And, doubly dying, shall go down
To the vile dust, from whence he sprung,
Unwept, unhonour’d, and unsung.

Ā  TFG will not suffer the fate of the Rosenbergs, but may he suffer the fate forever the ā€œvile dustā€ā€¦unwept, unhonored, and unsung

@theungamerĀ

I wonder what Elijah Cummings is thinking now from wherever he is at. Ā He certainly has a good seat to this craziness. Ā It makes you wonder if there could be a connection to last week doesn't it?

Well, he has woven a sticky web and the threads connect to so many things.

So DJT thought they would get ahead of DOJ release. They gave the warrant and inventory to Brietbart and WSJ. I guess they didn’t realize what the statutes are when Ā Brietbart published their footnotes. Espionage and Concealment of Documents!

@tybin It's time to put TFG where he belongs. Ā This link lists one additional charge:

Well, as expected, Russia would love it if TFG would relo there. The official quoted in this article refers to him as "our Donald."Ā  Good chance we will have a prediction hit, sooner rather than later, as it applies to The Clodfather and his offspring fleeing.

San Antonio is blue, barely. The further north one goes, the whiter, richer, and redder the Ā neighborhoods are.Ā

I agree that there are plenty of deep blue Dems in Texas but (a) people always forget how much of the state is rural or small town and very conservative, and (b) there are plenty of very conservative Hispanic (mostly Catholic) voters. I don’t know a single Dem living here who expects Beto to win. We like him, we give money to him, and we’ll vote for him. But I for one will be flabbergasted if he pulls this off.

@2ndfdlĀ

I am aware of a lot of rich west coast techie bros and rich east coast wall street bros who have all relocated to TX, mostly in the fancy enclaves around Dallas.

@laura-f I don’t think anyone should underestimate the impact that Uvalde will have on voting. Nor should anyone underestimate the women of Texas dealing with abortion. They figure about 20% of Republican women in Kansas voted with Dems on the abortion issue. And Beto came amazingly close to Ted Cruz. Abbott is less appealing then Cruz was that year (Cruz greatly moderated his smarminess). Beto has a great chance and he has money, too. Keep praying for Texas.

I'm going out on a limb here -- In our 1/31/22 RTF, I predicted the following for November 2022:Ā

There is a political upset in Texas. I am smiling. (Deetoo)

I don't know exactly what that means, but I still feel that way.

I'm praying that my limb remains strong and stable, and withstands any heavy rains, winds or tornadoes that may come its way!

I’m right out there on the limb with you, @Deetoo, as a new student here I participated in the 1/31/22 RTFN. I recorded that for the January 2025 inaugural that:

ā€Kamala Harris is on the inaugural stand. There are patches of snow drifted onto the base of the stand. Harris is glowing, smiling and waving. It felt like Texan Beto O’Rourke was in the background or there in spirit? Ā Hillary is smiling. Obama is laughing.ā€ Ā (Freya 1/31/22)

I thought at the time it meant Beto had probably become the Governor of Texas and he was indeed there in spirit when a Democrat had won the next Presidential election.Ā

I hope we’re right!
