oooh - you may be onto something there. I will add that it was extra cool that the FBI turned up at M-a-L while Mango Mussolini was in NJ.

Turkey, Dubai, Saudi Arabia - somewhere hot and sandy...

He really is a sick, deranged bastard, isn't he? I can only imagine some of the disgusting images and info that may come out. He is most definitely blackmailing Graham and Lord knows who else.

I can't stand the sight of his bloated face or his voice, but I did watch that clip of him talking about how Ronny Jackson loved looking at his body because he's so strong and fit. Creepy and 🤢 🤮 delusional as hell. I've always found it incredibly pathetic that he has to say such stupidly unbelievable stuff to try and feed his insatiable ego, which stems from truly overwhelming deep-seated insecurity.

He looks like a Tang-dipped donut mated with a parade balloon.

I wish I could believe that were so...according to CNN, he just said, "President Trump (notice he always refers to Twitler as "President") is likely to run again in 2024. Launching such an investigation of a former President this close to an election is beyond problematic."

LOL. Yeah, right. Wasn't a problem at all when it came to SC justices, now was it, Senator? And when the former president is a criminal, all bets are off, cupcake.

Thugs are complaining about the weaponization of the Justice Department after Twitler used the government as his personal Gestapo? Seriously?

I found this from the July 26, 2017 RTF (original prediction)

  • A man tries to retrieve something that was hidden. He has longish black or dark brown hair, he’s young and handsome. He’s hidden these things in the closet shelf. This is about Trump and his family and team who have been hiding evidence in a boarded or locked closet. (Jeanne) Note: in an earlier reading posted in May, I’d seen a closet boarded off where Trump has hidden documents. (Jeanne Mayell)

So this is a very interesting tidbit and flows right into this prediction. Appears FBI agents used a padlock to secure a room during the search.

Alternet is not a great source and while it appears to be left leaning is actually another source of disinformation. The FBI did not padlock anything. Several months ago, Twitler told HIS lawyers and security to padlock the room he is keeping the documents in.

In a past reading, I got that 45 will end up in the Middle East. When I did a reading on him again, I got that 45 may end up in a medical asylum as the Middle East might not accept him.

Laura thank you for that. The article made it seem like the FBI padlocked the room.

Representatives of the DOJ asked Trump to secure the stolen files back in June, per this CNN article. The idea didn't originate with Trump or his staff:

"In early June, a handful of investigators made a rare visit to the property seeking more information about potentially classified material from Trump's time in the White House that had been taken to Florida. The four investigators, including Jay Bratt, the chief of the counterintelligence and export control section at the Justice Department, sat down with two of Trump's attorneys, Bobb and Evan Corcoran, according to a source present for the meeting...Five days later, on June 8, Trump's attorneys received a letter from investigators asking them to further secure the room where the documents were stored. Aides subsequently added a padlock to the room."

Well, it has been an interesting couple of days, hasn't it?  I may be making several posts, because so much is going on right now.

First, what are my impressions about Trump and the "raid" on his precious home?

I got curious about what judge signed the search warrant on Trump, so I looked it up.  It turned out to be Hon. Bruce Reinhart.  If that name sounds familiar, it should.  Years ago, when news of Jeffrey Epstein started coming out, Reinhart represented some of Epstein's employees (two of whom were granted immunity).

Trump-world has already learned about this, and they are starting the same-old "Democrats are child-pedophiles and Satan worshippers" junk that we have listened to for years.  But they are also being careful by keeping the outrage in their own circles.  Because once you start making a huge deal about trying to connect Democrats with Epstein, all Democrats have to do is parade forth all the evidence of Trump's own relationship (with pictures) with Epstein.

No doubt any judge that signed the warrant would be fair game for MAGA.  But why this judge?  First, Garland doesn't have a choice.  As I understand it, Reinhart is the judge in the jurisdiction where Trump resides.  After all, you wouldn't go to a California judge for a search warrant you need conducted in New Jersey!  Simple Law 101.  But Reinhart's ties to Epstein has ramifications for Trump too if MAGA tries to take this further or Republicans really do try to make Benghazi hearings out of this.

I find the timing of the search warrant interesting.  Remember how Republicans were fuming about how the Anti-Inflation Bill got passed through Democratic strategy similar to how McConnell used to do?  Biden is signing the laws now, but you are hardly hearing anything about that right now.  While Democrats are silently taking a victory lap, Republicans are having a mental breakdown over Trump.

The message to the American voters is clear.  If it was a choice between our country and Trump, the Republicans will choose Trump.  His problems are clearly more important than the supposed "evils" of the Anti-Inflation Act.

I suspected that Garland was biding his time and waiting for the right moments to make his move.  With only three months left till the midterms, Trump will either demand Republicans do something to save him or decide to declare his run for Presidency before the midterms.  Republicans will scream for more investigations into the FBI, the federal government, Hunter Biden, Hillary Clinton (who is no doubt laughing her tail off as she asks "WHAT ABOUT MY EMAILS?!"), and pretty much anyone else they can think of to appease Trump, if ONLY to get him from announcing his candidacy prior to the midterms.

So it becomes a waiting game right now.  Methinks Garland already has an airtight case against Trump, but he is waiting for just the right time to strike.  Timing is everything.  If Trump is convinced that someone will indict him prior to the midterms, he will announce his candidacy and throw Republicans for a loop.  But if Republicans gain control of the House (which they are likely to do), Garland can still indict Trump even if the January 6 Commission is closed down.

As to my other thoughts about this case, does anyone have any idea as to what Trump can be charged with in regards to this search warrant?

I don't know why, but I suspect the crime may be far, far worse than just hiding documents.

Has anyone given a thought as to what might be in those documents?  Or, more importantly, why Trump needs to hold onto those documents?

If they were documents detailing Trump's wrongdoing, I don't doubt he would have flushed them down the toilet by now (literally).  So why keep them?

If you want my opinion, I think those documents contain classified information concerning our country, and Trump is probably giving them to the highest bidder (Saudi Arabia, Russia, etc.)

I have been thinking about this issue over and over again, but I can't help but think that Russia in particular is somehow involved in this, and that these documents very well may contain information that Russia would love to have.  And because Trump is known for giving parties and rallies, it would be so easy for Trump or an ally to give the information to a Russian spy (methinks several Republicans are on Putin's payload).

Crazy?  Perhaps.  But then again, I still can't come up with a reason as to WHY Trump would keep these documents.  It makes no sense!  Remember, this search warrant is actually the THIRD time that the Justice Department has traveled to Trump's residence on this matter (the other two times were meetings between Trump and the Department's representatives.)  So Trump is already getting unwanted attention by taking these documents.  And the man is so rich from not paying taxes like the rest of us that he literally throws toilet paper at his followers, so it is not as though there is a shortage of toilet paper in Trump's bathroom!

Maybe someone else know a more logical reason as to why Trump would take these documents as opposed to my "Trump is committing treason for profit" theory, but I truly think part of the secrecy involving these documents is because something is being done to compromise the information they contain is so sensitive that the release of the information may have an effect on our national security.

Another factor to consider?  The recent outrage of the MAGA crowd (or is it?)  Yes, ever since the news broke, Fox News, Steve Bannon, and others have taken to the airwaves to ferment violence, and the evidence on social media seems to verify that.

BUT....what if some of these posts are fake?

No, don't get me wrong.  The MAGA group is a dangerous terrorist group and must not be underestimated.  But I don't think they are as numerous as they believe they are.  I think that some of the posts calling for violence and civil war are not actual MAGA people at all, and are instead Russian operatives that are trying to stir up trouble (as they did in 2016) and energize the MAGA crowd into believing that the majority of the US population agrees with them when they really don't.

The MAGA crowd is crazy, but they are also cowards, and stupid beyond measure.  Because while they are all posting on social media, the FBI and others are listening in and watching.  Once they realize that they DON'T have the numbers that they believe they have, many will fade into the background like the pathetic bullies they are.

As to MAGA's lack of intelligence, have you noticed that the people making statements are the very people who should not say anything right now?  I heard that one person who has plead guilty for January 6 posted some disturbing content about the recent events, and it could affect how much prison time is given during sentencing.  Steve Bannon, already convicted of contempt, is posting stuff that prosecutors will use against Bannon for his sentencing.  I don't doubt Alex Jones will do something stupid when he should be focusing on his own legal woes.

It is days like this that I am proud to be a lawyer.

YES to all of this.

Correct me if I'm wrong - the documents are the reason for the warrant, hiding them is the initially suspected crime, but if it's discovered that within the documents other crimes are outlined or supported in some way, then he could be charged with those crimes, no?

ETA: Russia has a well established practice of riling up morons in a country to destabilize it. Given how the US education system has been gutted over the last half century, it's no surprise they are meeting with some success here. To my mind, Civil War 2.0 is already underway, "cold war" style.  I have family members who are complete MAGAts (one who works in law enforcement unfortunately) who have blocked me even though I don't really engage with them online nor argue with them in person.

@laura-f  Hope it does not go beyond "cold war".  Anyone sense any violence breaking out because of this? You never know with these people...
