@pamp

Whenever I hear talk of book bannings, I am reminded of one of my favorite movie scenes. In Field of Dreams, Ray's wife (Amy Madigan) gets into it with a woman at a parent's meeting-

"At least he is not a book-burner, you Nazi cow!"

🤣

Hats off to these young people holding their own banned books clubs! 😎

From the New York Times today: As Federal Climate-Fighting Tools Are Taken Away, Cities and States Step Up https://nyti.ms/3ntbwoK

Jeanne and others saw the states acting more on their own volition, independent of federal government.

Dear Community, I'm noticing so many people, including myself, some relatives, and cherished friends are going through health problems right now, and so much of it, not all, but so much of it is related to anxiety reverberating through our sensitive bodies.

We are like airplanes ascending upwards to a higher airspace but going through turbulence on the way.  So much turbulence right now, but we are headed to a higher airspace.

When I was much younger and on a flight that was experiencing huge turbulence, a man sitting next to me who felt my terror, told me he was an experienced commercial jet pilot and I should know that these planes can take a lot more turbulence than this.  He told me not to worry.  I will never forget his kindness and his message.

And in the same way, we too can take this turbulence, as long as we pay attention to our bodies, our anxieties, and focus on that higher airspace where we are headed.

I found some old readings I did in 2013, 2014, and 15 which I will  repost in the timeline predictions.  They consistently show that the higher airspace is ahead of us after so much turbulence.

@jeanne-mayell - Thank you for this reminder.  While my physical health has been great my mental health took some turns over the last little while.  Last week I woke up one morning and everything was fine - like, totally fine for the first time in almost 6 years - since then - even despite the SCOTUS rulings, the pit of dread has stayed gone.

We've seen the better outcome.  The rest is just noise.  And I think my body finally yelled at my brain to turn it off.

I await the prediction repost with bated breath!

I guess I didn't see much in there that was "higher airspace"....just more of the same, only worse.

@tgraf66 @jeanne-mayell

I went and read what you posted this morning too, and I also fail to see things getting better after 2028 based on what you posted.

Mind you, I do not fear these dark posts nor do I want you to NOT post them. I'd prefer to know how bad it will get. I'm one of those people that if a large meteor was headed towards Earth, I'd want to know so I could make peace with my fate.

That being said, and surely it's my confirmation bias kicking in, I have never thought I'd be alive when things finally do turn around. In 2041 I will be 80 years old (if I'm still alive at all).  By 2060 I will most likely be dead.

So I don't see the "higher airspace" either. Certainly not in this cross section of the multiverse.

just have to remind myself that all of these lightworkers didn't show up to necessarily welcome in the Golden Age.  But here they are- in a  very dark time.  We all signed up to be here now.  If the future brings you down, then today is your day!    WE will still have fun, and love each other   The future is ours

Yeah, we're here to do a job.   But it might be fun to reincarnate in 50 or 100 years to see how it turns out.   😉

A few days ago I randomly pulled Shakti Gawain's "The Path of Transformation" off my bookshelf to re-read.    The main theme of the book is that the best way to help the world is to start by working on our own individual advancement.  The book was written in 1993 but much of what is said speaks to the upheaval of the present.  It has an encouraging tone and is written in accessible terms.  I would recommend it to anyone struggling with the question of "What can *I* do?"

(As a footnote, I learned that Ms. Gawain passed on in 2018 at the relatively young age of 70.  I was saddened to learn this.  I learned quite a lot from her early on in my journey.  I imagine she is now "directing traffic" from a higher plane.  🙂 )

Thank you for pointing out this book. I have not seen it before and am just looking at the preview on Amazon. It looks amazing! I will have to get a copy. It looks to be a great perspective and tool for all of us, especially going through this time in history.

@jeanne-mayell Hi Jeanne and all. I’ve taken a long recess from all the crap going on, but the Hearing and unsupreme court have made it just about impossible to ignore.

I’ve  been stressed since 2015. A few months ago, I learned a have Lyme disease. That’s in addition to Epstein Barr Virus and Hashimoto’s. All three cause fatigue. So it’s been tough. I also have been dealing with lead and mercury in my system and a lot of pain in my knees from tearing the meniscus in each knee over a year and a half. There hasn’t been a lot to cheer me up.

I’m looking for predictions for the outcome of the hearings, trump, trumpism, Roe vs Wade, and the Supreme Court. Are they anywhere?

Thanks,

Anita

@unk-p perzactly!

We are here because of our light. Think of all those who love to proclaim they are the party of Lincoln,  but hate libs.  Oh,  there are so many other examples. The bottom line is that we are here to provide light to those seeds. A seed is destroyed during its transformation. It is buried in the dirt,  with no light,  & when watered,  it resides in the mud. With enough light & warmth,  it sprouts,  cracking & shedding its shell. It pushed forth to the open air,  rooting itself in the earth,  but basking in the sun. It blooms eventually.

We are here to be the light & warmth many seeds need to grow. Not all seeds will germinate,  but we will give light,  love, & warmth just the same. We have to remind ourselves that we're not alone,  or that we're not doing our jobs. We can't do it all- just our assigned tasks.

Transformation is difficult. Just as the beautiful butterfly who turned into a blob of mush inside its cocoon during metamorphosis we'll attest. It's hard work,  but worth the effort to fly.

That was a fantastic and relatable visual image you have created for us all.  It is beautiful and I will remember it and keep it with me!

Thank you!

@debbie-m You took the words out of my mouth. In my 71 years, this is the worse I’ve ever seen this country. I’ve marched in 20s and 30’s. I’ve been through assassinations in the 1960s as many others. But we’ve had 9/11, a large number of school shootings and other mass shootings, a want to be dictator actually elected and then attempting a coup,

the turning back of Roe, and God know what else SCOTUS will do. Climate change, inflation, more jobs open than workers wanting to take them. I’m so tired! When will this ever end?

I think Jeanne is planning a new RTF night this month.

I hope you feel better soon.

@cindy

Beautiful post!

I was out working in the garden the other day. Last fall I had planted a handful of rosebushes that I got on the 50% off table. I always feel sorry for them lol. I nursed them back to health, and they were doing beautifully, but then winter came and they didn't have enough time to take root and establish (or so I thought). But on close inspection, as I was about to rip them out, I saw green at the base. Not a lot, but enough so they will more than likely come back. I have to believe we will as well.

Some more food for thought. I have young adult children. They are not overly political, as I am, but they have nothing but disgust for the GOP. The younger generation(s) want nothing to do with the controlling, fossilized old fascist mindset. As my teenager said, "The GOP is over." There are also some brilliant young minds working on climate change.

There is always hope. 😊

Thank you. I hope I’m not in the loony bin before then.🫣😩🤪😳 It’s been so many years of stress. Who imagined we’d have a coup attempt by a wanna be dictator that at least 80% of a major party would believe…..all the while having a pandemic…..Roe vs Wade reversed….and one party working to overthrow our government?

@debbie-m & @tgraf66 and anyone swirling the drain with us, after seeing that Scotus was taking up the voting/state legislator thing, I just lost it.  A few years into TFG's tour @tgraf66 (thank you) recommended following Teri Kanefield on twitter for reality and grounding. Recently, Teri did an extensive twitter post about how "Chile got out from under an actual dictator using peaceful means."

This is a long read but it pulled my sense of hope out of the drain. We can do this. For those that need a break, step away from the crazy and take care of yourselves.

Terri is my go-to human for getting talked off the ledge. She's not having any of this discouragement thing. She's all if you don't like it do something about it.

We should rest for as long as we need, then organize and fight back. If you've fought many battles already, then rest a little longer. :)
