This is defiantly difficult news to read for sure. Most of those energy producers will not do the right thing and choose not to keep current pollution controls on their own.
I love Alt NPS and many of the other Alt gov handles. They dispense important news that gets little to no media coverage. What great pressure they are under every day.
If you don't think your voice is important, the House dropped the selling of National Park land from the bill which is a huge win. Unfortunately there is still oil and gas leasing and logging which will decimate nature and the bill defunds the National Parks and forests across the country as well as critical Fish and Game programs.
This seems the most logical place to tell my story. My great grandmother was psychic. Growing up no one mentioned that. My sister got into the Ouija board at about 15. It treated her like she was a God. At 16 my parents put her in for evaluation because she was hard to handle. They kept her 2 weeks and said it was something genetic. My mother's best friend had a friend there and they said every time they put her under hypnosis she spoke French. This was 60's. My parents let her marry her boyfriend and move to Germany at age 17 because they could not handle her. They came to live back at our house when I was 12. One night after she was drinking on our patio, she stated that Grandma Avery and Aunt Davalee were at the corner. I went there and it was cold. Grandma Avery was the psychic, and I blamed her until I realize they were trying to protect her. A little later she asked "Pourquoi, Pourqoi,viva la Grandpere". Then she grabbed my arms leaving bruises. She grabbed her neck and fell to the ground like she was choking. Fran never took French, she took Spanish. Then got up and went to bed. This was the first of the many paranormal things that happened in our family. This is cathartic to tell. She was later diagnosed as Bipolar but that did not teach her french. It took me many years to accept my psychic abilities which are not nearly as strong as hers were. But now I am not scared by it, I am not ashamed of it, and I own it. Thank you for letting me shed this here. There was a demon or negative energy brought in the house with the ouija board and the seances they had there, and I hope it is not still there. The few people I have told this I think don't really accept it and think I am crazy. THIS IS TRUE and I could pass a lie detector test.
I second guessed myself for putting this on here. It is not something I made up. It was one of the most traumatic experiences I have ever had. My house was chaos once the Ouija board was brought in. I only told one of the most horrible experiences. Until the day she died when she was drinking heavily, she would lapse into French. I have witnesses to it. I am not making this up for the forum, it is true. It opened my mind to so much.

Thank you so much for the validation. I know my story is way out of the norm, not just psychic but crazy sounding. IT IS REAL. I hid it for many years. I was a software engineer and so normal, but this was always there. Your words mean so much, I realize this is out of the realm of what people think on here, but it happened and is real, I am not sure if it was reincarnation, or possession, but I lean to reincarnation. My parents took her to therapy for the first time when she was 7 and the answer was again this was genetic.
It appears that I have Covid again.. The test line was very faint so not a high concentration. Will restest tomorrow.
Unfortunately, I was out and about and was exposed to or may have exposed a lot of people.
I saw a map of the world showing dots of infection around the world but U S is blank. They aren't allowing reports.
The good news, today was the last day of school. I have unending time to recover.
Now I can see that symptoms were present but not unusual for me: falling asleep at a loud assembly,(insomnia) a lot of wheezing (ashthma), gi issues(a plethora of gi issues and illnesses) I am weakened with addiction and grief and fledgling attempts at prolonged self love, acceptance, and forgiveness.
Strangely I am resigned and calmer this time. Now I can't flirt with Sobriety and self care. I have to make a commitment. I have been so hard on myself that it is hard to break out of that pattern.

@averylegacy I believe you. There have been quite a few cases of people being able to speak a language they had no apparent way of learning. I do not know what the situation was with your sister-- I would guess reincarnation but I have no way of knowing for certain.
Also, I had a pretty weird experience with a Ouija board when I was a teenager. I threw it in the garbage afterwards, it scared me that much. I didn't know anything about banishing or protection rituals at the time but I do remember telling the spirit to go away. And I don't think it hung around.

I just took two brand new Covid tests and they both were negative.
The test I used last night wasn't expired, but it wasn't brand new and gave me a false positive.
Oddly enough, I just took the trash out and the bag was tied. When I got back from the dumpster, I found one of the negative covid tests on the doormat. It is extremely unlikely that it fell out of the bag.
I am deciding that this was a message from spirit to keep going, to keep working on myself. To realize I need to do better for my health.
A weird 24 hours for me, complete with a long unpleasant trump dream this morning, Not prophetic, just stress induced.

I have a large amount of family and friends L.A. and the mood in the city has shifted dramatically.
There are now BIG sweeps taking place, not small raids. Sweeps took place at a large mall. ICE is confirmed to be going through neighborhoods speeding and blowing through stop signs in school zones in neighborhoods my friends live in. People are afraid to go out and get groceries because the fear arrest. Journalists are being shot with rubber bullets.
Today, the person in charge of the union of our 50 states has basically endorsed the idea that the immigration head should arrest the Gov. of CA.
June 14th is coming...not sure how that will go in this city or across the country for that matter.
Prayers for the highest and greatest good to occur. Prayers for wisdom, compassion, love and peace to flow over the city. May a host of angels guard their namesake city.
@averylegacy I believe you too. So many issues seem to had come together in your sister's situation, reinforcing each other. It looks like a chaotic mixture of past life issues, unresolved obsessions, genetic factors and substance abuse. It must have been a nightmare for the whole family to watch her lifelong suffering and not really being able to help her. Still, ongoing prayers remain a mighty way of support for persons we would have wanted to help, even after their death. It is good for you that you are very courageous and tell others about your experiences with your sister. And I also guess, such problems like your sister had, are much less seldom than it seems. All the best and much light for your own path. Despite all the sufferings in your family, you walked your path as a normal man with psychic abilities and I think you can be very proud.
Dear Jeanne and the entire community: I just wanted to reconnect and say hello. I've been MIA now for a while but always looked through your forum and occasionally gave a thumbs up. I'm sorry for being MIA, but I was going through a very tough time since last May, especially since July 2024. I was in severe pain and looking at a computer screen and typing was even tough. My insurance company wouldn't cover 95% of what I needed done to my back and neck. I am now on Medicare and had cervical surgery on 4/17/25 and found out I have a heart condition I have to address. The list is long so I'm just putting those two physical things here. I had to stop working too and started on Soc. Security (and I've applied for disability but who knows if that will be approved).
In the meantime DOGE did some of their "checking" and is taking back some of my social security for two months at the end of last year claiming I was $2000 over the threshold of income so they are taking $4000 from me! My only income now is Soc Security, a teeny pension, and whatever real estate deals my husband does.
So this whole nightmare we are all facing with T and his band of cruel GOPers has affected me personally, yet there are still neighbors and family who still think DOGE is great.
I plan on being more active on the site when I can. But I wanted to say hello and let you all know I've thought of you and been happy to read the forum when I could. I miss you and am sending love and light to everyone! 😍
@triciact That's a lot to deal with. I hope your pain has been eased, if not all gone. t - sigh. So much unnecessary hurt, etc has been inflicted on countless individuals. May peace, calm, and justice be on our horizon. Take care of yourself, and I hope you prevail in getting disability as well.

He just underwent major surgery this afternoon to repair the fractures and the doctor said he is doing well. Please send your best healing energies to @Lovendures. She took a very bad fall while on a long awaited trip to Alaska, and broke both ankles. Surgery was successful, but it's going to be a bit of a road to recovery. Lot's a PT and gradually making it from wheelchair to walking again.
