Please friends, please send healing and light to my nephew J.  Just learned he is at this exact moment suffering from severe mental health crises including suicidal ideation.  I feel very sad for him and his parents. I always worry about him and pray for him.

I don't know what can be done, I am hoping for a miracle.

I know our group here is powerful. The night I wrote about not being able to swallow, and sleep was elusive, I suddenly felt the lump in my throat lessen enough to allow me a window to fall asleep. I believe that happened because of all of you. I could feel the love and support you all sent to me.

So please send whatever light you can spare, and join me in praying for his safety, for a successful intervention, and that they can get him on to the next phase of care he so desperately needs quickly.

Thanks friends.

@anya, you were in my Circle healing meditation this morning.  I'm praying for a good outcome with your tests this week and a successful resolution to your health challenges.

@ghandigirl I don't know if this is coincidence or synchronicity, but I was just researching properties of lavender, and according to the internet, so take this with a grain of salt, Tibetan monks used it to treat psychosis.  I use lavender soap to help with sleep, so perhaps in addition to medical care, that may be of help. I send an intent for St Luke to assist the docs to do the right thing.  Prayers and healing thoughts too.

I do not recommend only treating this with lavender, just to be clear.

@ghandigirl, I've been praying for your nephew and his family.  Mental illness is such a painful and challenging thing to be dealing with, whether for ourselves or our loved ones.  I know that many of us have experienced it in our own families, myself included.

May your nephew receive the help he needs and find the clarity, hope and strength to move forward in his life.  Sending love and peace of mind to you and J.'s entire family.

Thanks everyone. I've been giving them space and no news is good news. I will hear from one of my brothers what is happening soon. For now, I am thinking of all the memories of myself and him and sending so much love.

Speaking of news, I had my first swallow therapy session today and found out exactly what is wrong and is going on.  It is a combination of a genetic predisposition to acid reflux due to a differently formed digestive tract, a yeast infection of the throat similar to thrush, and a sluggish epiglotis and esophagus/digestive system.

I will be learning about carbs for the yeast infection further restricting and tweaking my diet (what will be left to eat now I wonder?) and doing swallow exercises just a few a day. This is the worst I plan to ever feel. Knowledge IS power.

@toma  nothing presidential here, but Aug. 8th is significant in that I have decided to end grief counseling because I am knowing who I am, where I stand and what my path must be.  So many connections. Back to politics.😏
