@matildagirl Sending a powerful healing angel to cleanse and purify your body, and boost your immune system. Seeing good health is yours.  Here's a song I love that @tesseract sent me.  I love playing it until i just turns on automatically in my head.

Healing Affirmation Song!

@matildagirl

Excellent job following your intuition!

I am amazed at how quickly everything happened for you from discovering the lump to having surgery.  It takes  longer in the U.S.   May your recovery go smoothly and may you be in excellent health shortly.

Recent events have convinced my that my current bf has no intention of working on his issues for any sustained period.  I have realized that he isn't just an "occasional problem drinker".  No, he is an incorrigible alcoholic. He was really good at hiding it, and I guess I'm naive about alcoholics, not having had much experience with them.  After hemming and hawing for a year, I finally saw the light and set a deadline by when he must be out of my house, or face eviction.

I am, all at the same time: 1) mourning the loss of what could have been had he valued me (and the roof over his head) more than his booze,  2) angry as hell, 3) concerned about where he will go (he does not have much money),  and 4) looking forward to getting him out of my life. (yay!)

I know he expects me to cave.

I need to just calm down and stay firm in my resolve.  I know this, but it is difficult.   Any prayers or encouragement would be wonderful.  Thank you!

@ ana

I read this after posting in the Dreams thread. Your eye dream was spot on...

“I  finally saw the light and set a deadline by when he must be out of my house, or face eviction. "

You are facing a difficult process. I hope you can find support whether it is from a specialized group, an individual counselor who is experienced with alcohol issues, or good friend/s.

There are new treatment approaches but, of course, you can’t control his choices: niaaa.nih.gov

@raincloud   Thank you.  Last year when dealing with the same thing, I went to a few Al-Anon meetings and purchased several of their books and pamphlets.  I also have a therapist and a psychiatrist (the latter for lifelong anxiety and depression) so I'm good there.   It's just such a confusing mix of feelings to deal with in this situation.  I am not looking forward to having to arrange a forced eviction.

I need prayers for the bf to leave voluntarily and find a safe and decent place to stay.
