@coyote, I'm glad you have your schedule for surgery, so you can plan and do what is necessary. I'll keep you in my thoughts.

@luminous, I hope you find the right course of treatment soon. I'll keep you in my thoughts as well.

@allyn, I too live in a red area. I can't really add much to what others have said, but keep in mind that being the light in the dark recesses for others is a hard job. Just remember that each of us is in charge of our own light. Others can try to block it, throw shadows, etc., but we are the only ones who can extinguish it. Hang in there. Remember to be thankful that you are who you are, and that you have different values and insights from those who are causing you anguish.

I'm not sure what my Christmas will actually look like. The last time I checked in, dad wasn't doing great, and my sister was in the hospital. I had noted I thought the day of the eclipse was noteworthy. Turns out my sister was released on the day of the eclipse. She's struggling, but hanging in there. Dad is still complaining about his heart, and I got him a finger EKG. It takes an EKG from two fingers on each hand when positioned near your phone with the installed app. Technology is incredible. It wasn't surprising to find that once I could get him to use the device properly, it keeps saying he's in a-fib. Then last night he was rushed out of his girlfriends apartment at the home as they watched a movie. Turns out two residents have now tested positive. These are the first residents to be positive in almost a year (tho there are plenty of employees who have been positive in the last year). Dad's friend had direct exposure, but even with both of them having full vaccinations and boosters, with dad's poor state of health, they were taking no chances, and have quarantined them. I might get to visit him on Christmas-it will depend on the first round of testing results. I was a little startled by the call last night-coming at 10:30 pm, I guess I was expecting worse news. I had a dream early yesterday morning about taking dad to see his father-it was the 21st anniversary of my grandfather's passing. Eerie timing I guess.

@luminous

It sounds like the doctor you contacted in Houston was very helpful. Your interpretation of 'reading' makes a lot of sense. When I said in the dream that you should go to reading I saw Scotland and northern England as if I were high up in the atmosphere (which i guess is why I thought of 'reading' as a place name). I knew that there's a city in England called Reading, but when i said 'reading' I zeroed my attention on a town that was just over the border in Scotland. So perhaps there's a psychic in Scotland who will be helpful? Or maybe you just want to go to Scotland in general?

@allyn I've read your comments about living on a farm in Tennessee. I feel like your presence there is helping the land heal; there's a lot of unresolved trauma inhabiting the landscape of the US Southeast. Perhaps you should give yourself more space by paying as little attention as you can to the news and sitting quietly outdoors instead. Healing is about spaciousness, especially in the interior realm, and we will all need a lot of that in the US as we go through our first ever Pluto Return.

@coyote I have family that are from Scotland and I currently live in Northern England. ?

But as far as I am aware, there is no place in Scotland near the border called Reading, but perhaps you are right about a psychic or perhaps there is someone there my family might know. I will ask some questions and see if I can find out anything.

@luminous

Hmm. Scotland has been ahead of England in medicine for two centuries. I wonder if there might be an MD there who could “read” your studies and help. Just a thought. You have been on my mind…

@raincloud

I don't know. I got quite a lot of information that gave me a diagnosis from the neuroradiologist in Houston. Whether it is another doctor who can help, a psychic, or someone my family know, I don't know... I guess time will tell.

It's always possible that in the university hospitals in Glasgow and Edinburgh, they might have some new research, but I haven't really been looking there.

I think more than anything, @coyote has been told info about my surname connection to Norfolk, where I currently reside in Northern England, my family connections to Scotland and (possibly) I need a new reading from someone who maybe from outside the border of Scotland. That is quite eerie, no offence @coyote haha.

@coyote   Re:  "Reading" the city vs. "reading" the noun....   They're pronounced differently, in case you didn't know.  Did you "hear" the word pronounced?  If you did and it was "Redding" (like the color red) it would be the city.

@ana that is a good point, and for some reason I just assumed he was told "reading" rather than the place Reading (pronounced "redding").

I posted before about a difficult situation with my job (not personal). Things have been very bad since late September and there is no indication of a positive resolution anytime soon. Although I am reasonably healthy, I am beginning to worry about the long term effects of the extraordinary level of stress currently in my life.

I don’t feel comfortable giving more detail as it would be identifying but the situation affects many people besides me. Prayers, kind thoughts, intentions, and light all are asked for and welcome.

Gah!!!  So today I decided omicron warranted going all-out with an N-95 mask.  (Usually I wear a well-fitted cloth one).  I had to run a couple of short errands- one to WallyMart and the other to the Publix grocery store.  About half the customers in each were wearing masks. The stores weren't crowded, so I was able to avoid being close to people.  Everything seemed cool until, while grocery shopping, I got a call from my son.  "Um mom, one of my housemates tested positive for COVID."

Now all I can think about his how to deal with this and not get my elderly mom or semi-elderly sister sick at Christmas.  ?  BUT--- I scored several packs of rapid COVID tests at the Publix pharmacy before leaving the store! ? They said "Yeah, we have lots of these because we knew this was coming. How many do you need?"  Son went out to the student health center just now to get tested.  Dang ---and I JUST wanted to get through Christmas.  We are all triple-vaxxed.   (Except for my son's housemate-- he was double-vaxxed but not boosted.  And is all-but asymptomatic.)

Prayers of protection and healing from illness would be appreciated.
