@ana

Dearest Ana,

Know that no matter what happens, you are not alone.  Neither is Dale.  Neither are your family members.

These past few days have seen many higher beings working with you all.  It is important that you know this to be true.

I sense Dale's love for you all.  So much love for you Ana.  I am hopeful there can be a positive outcome, I know it is a very difficult time for you. We will be here with you no matter what happens.  We will continue to send our love and positive energy to Dale and all your family.

We love you dear friend.

Thank you all so much for your loving words and thoughts.  These mean a great deal.

My brother's brain scans today showed severe damage from the anoxia following the cardiac arrest. The neurologist said that the prognosis was poor, that quality of life even if he survives would be poor and he would require round-the-clock care.  Dale would not want this AT ALL.

The current plan is to start taking him off the IV, ventilator and pacemaker gradually starting tomorrow.   Our family had a Skype call this evening with his wife, and I'm so glad we did.  We all agree that "unplugging" is the only sane option.  I still hold out the faint hope that he'll miraculously wake up when unplugged, because anything is possible.  But we are as prepared as much as we can be.

A prayer for me please as I recover from occasional vertigo. I am truly in disequilibrium in a lot of ways, but I am still and overwhelmingly just grateful.

I tried to tune into you this afternoon during a moment of relative calm----   I saw what I believe were your various guardians.  They laughed and waved me away and said, "that's OK, we've got her".

@ana. I am so sorry about your brother.  What a scary, sad situation this is.  Please know that I am praying for you, Dale, your mother and all of your family.  I share your belief in “life after life” and find that it brings me comfort and peace.  May angels surround Dale and your family.

Thank you all for your support and love to my family.  My brother was taken off life support this afternoon just after 5 PM and he passed very quickly.  We were prepared, so although this is tragic, now we are relieved that he is at peace.  He would not have wanted to live in an impaired condition.  His wife and our mom are doing OK.  It is all shocking but we will be all right.  I suppose the angels are helping us with that.

Interesting "woo" event-- yesterday afternoon my husband took the afternoon off work and felt like he just* had* to take a nap when he got home.  He began drifting in and out of sleep and found himself floating around with Dale in the hospital room above the bed.  He felt a great sense of calm and peace.  Dale was just observing everything and accepting what was going on.  Most of all, there was calm and peace, my husband said. No fear, no pain, no concern.  At some point he even got out of bed to use the bathroom and when he returned to bed he found himself right back in Dales hospital room.  It was very vivid.   He didn't tell me this until this morning.  But since then then he has told the story to my mom and S-I-L and they found it greatly comforting.

@ana. I woke up singing this old song in my mind. I think it may be meant for me to share with you.

On a clear day
Rise and look around you
And you'll see who you are
On a clear day
How it will astound you
That the glow of your being outshines every star
You'll feel part of every mountain, sea, and shore
You can hear from far and near a world
You've never ever heard before
And on a clear day
On that clear day
You can see forever and ever
And ever
And ever
More

❤️??

@ana, I'm sending hugs & condolences to you & your family. Grief is a journey, with ebbs & flows. We'll all be here - regardless of which state you're in at any given time. While what you all did was very hard, you know in your hearts that you did what Dale wanted. I have no doubts he's not only grateful, but he felt the love that guided your choices.

This post isn't about asking for a prayer.

It is instead  written to convey the beauty and impact felt when you discover a prayer has unexpectedly been fulfilled.

2.5 years ago I was a member on our wonderful site here when the horrible Paradise, CA  fire occurred. I did not know anyone at the time who had lost a home to the fire but I felt drawn to pray over many weeks and months for those who had been displaced and were struggling from the fire's aftermath.

I felt compelled to post updates here on Jeanne site about the aftermath of this particular fire,  the stories of survivors, the stories on the beautiful people who would go out to the charred neighborhoods rescuing separated animals and reuniting them with their owners.  Sometimes these reunions took place 6 months after a pet had been thought forever lost to the fire and they were so joyous  at their miraculous return.  I kept the people who were living in hotels after losing their homes and whose lives had been uprooted in repeated prayer for months. Then less often as time went by and new causes took my attention.

I am sure many of you have had similar experiences.  A certain tragedy compiles you to take a closer look, to try and truly feel for those dealing with the tragic event and at the very least, send them healing energy and prayers.

The Paradise Fire and how the community pulled together to help one another and learning about how strangers continued to help strangers made a big impact upon me.  I felt it deeply in my soul.

Which brings me to today.

The church I attend fully re-opened today and 6 new people came to services for the first time.  All had moved here at some point during the pandemic from various locations across the country.  We had our first coffee hour since the pandemic began today also and I had a chance to meet each of them.

And that is when I met him.  A senior retired man who visited us for the first time this morning.  When I asked him where he had moved from he mentioned it was Paradise, Ca.  I immediately had that "feeling" to pay attention, that there was meaning to this meeting between us.

He began to discuss his escape from the fire which destroyed his home, how the unexpected flames where on his property when he left, how he and his family members barely had time to gather their pets and get into their separate vehicles before the  flames overtook everything.  How he tried to put out a spot fire on his neighbor's property.  How they drove through flames.  How they lived in a motel for 9 months after the fire destroyed their home.  How they lost everything except for their lives, their pets, their vehicles and a small bag of old family videos which had been placed by the front door (scheduled to be taken that morning to a store that converts VHS videos to DVD's and Digital media) and was swooped up by his wife while fleeing.

I had never met this man and yet I felt so connected to him.  I felt as if I were greeting a long lost friend and welcoming them home.  I sensed through this meeting a divine message was being conveyed. A familiar message which seems to consistently speak to me in quiet moments of reflection, pray and meditation.

We are all connected.  What we do on one end of the country or even one end of the globe effects those on the other.  That sending prayers, healing, protection and love to those we don't even know does make an impact, that it can be felt and does make a difference.  Somehow I knew that the prayers I had sent to the survivors of the Paradise fire had indeed found their way to this man whom I was meeting for the first time.  I will never be able to prove this "Ah Ha" and divine moment.  But I "know" it to be true. Even when we can't physically be present to help others, we can still be there to help and helping is important in whatever manner we can manifest the positive action.

For those who may remember some of my posts about this fire and the aftermath, I felt you should also hear about this additional chapter and how it came full circle to me personally 2.5 years later.

Thanks!

@ana, my words seem so trivial compared to the pain you are feeling from the passing of your brother.  I am so sorry for your loss.  I pray that over time, fond memories cut through your sadness like rays of sunshine.

I'm surrounding you and your family with prayers of love, comfort and healing.

@ana. The loss of your brother is such a heartrending experience, yet in the midst of grief, there’s that ray of light, hope and reassurance:  your husband’s dream about your brother is a great gift for your family.  It’s a gentle reminder that we can not begin to grasp the mysteries of life and death.  I have this deep knowing that there is so much more to experience after death and that this life is only part of the big picture.  Our spirits go onward.  I am sending you angels of protection and angels of wonder as you and your family mourn your loss.  May you see signs of your brother everywhere.  Much love to you.
