@tesseract the edit feature is only available for a few minutes after you post your comment, then it goes away and an administrator is the only one who can edit it. I think that's how it works.
Wow. NYC and surrounding areas look innovated by flooding.
lots of prayers for everyone effected.
How are our NY and NJ members doing?
@tesseract, @ghandigirl, @matildagirl,
Thank you! I agree with so much of what you shared about your falls and your life lessons. Lots of wisdom there, my friends. I will admit that I've had my share of stumbles over the years -- physical and otherwise. Many of my falls I could attribute to not being grounded or fully present in my body, usually as a result of major fatigue (I have CFS) or my mental state. Sometimes it was just one of those goofball accidents of "who moved that stool and put it there?," or my dog suddenly pulling me down because she saw a squirrel. I've got some crazy stories to tell! Fortunately for me, I've survived them all, relatively intact -- I'm sure with major help from my angels and guides.
One thing I've learned in my advancing years (71+), is that we have to give ourselves a break. Being on this earth in human form, walking the walk, is hard. Enter self-compassion.
I've also learned one other thing -- not all of my life experiences are, or need to be, good experiences. But good can come out of all of my life experiences.
@lowtide Good to know! Thanks! I will proof more carefully 😊 going forward.
Hi everyone, I have been able to schedule an MRI tomorrow, October 3 at 11am Tucson time. I would be greatly appreciative of prayers/healing energy that this MRI shows definitively whatever it is that is causing the pain in my left shoulder and down my arm, primarily when I lay flat. My doctor is worried about a rotator cuff tear, but I think it is something else, just my gut feeling, and possibly denial, ('cuz reading for self is never that clear!) I can raise my arm over my head without pain which is good, but when I reach out to the left too far or across to the right then it aches—and the ache/pain is erratic. I have days when there is little to no pain and then at night it all starts up again. I have asked the Master Healers and Surgeons, and Archangel Raphael to be with the Tech, Radiologist, and my Ortho doc when they facilitate/and then read the MRI—but I sure would find comfort in knowing the vibe from this community is also there. I am lucky in that I am not claustrophobic, and have had other MRIs. I just tell them to play Josh Groban 😉 (not that you can hear all that well over the thumps!) and I go into a meditation. That said, this injury seems problematic in diagnosis because it doesn't have the overwhelming symptoms of rotator cuff injury but the arm is weak, so weak it startled my doctor! When she said "hold strong" against her pushing my hand downward, my left arm just whoosh, went all the way down, and that's when she said, MRI and Ortho. So here I am. Thank you all for the marvelous energy of this Healing Thread.
(I know I don't always post a reply when someone asks for prayers, but I ALWAYS send healing and ask for Angels when I see a post on this thread.Group Healing is an incredibly powerful Energy and that Energy is here throughout the forum at all time. We just dip more strongly into it when we share our requests.)
Blessings ❤️
@tesseract What you describe has all the hallmarks of a pinched nerve in somewhere in the area of C4-C6, possibly as low as T2. Whatever the MRI shows, obviously follow your doctor's instructions, but I would also see if you can find an Osteopath. Sending as many healing vibes as I can in my condition. 🤗

@tesseract Back in 2008, I pulled a muscle in my arm. Doctor said live with it. (You don't want an operation do you?). I cured it be having my husband pull my arm as far up my back as I could stand. It took a while, but the pain went away.
