I have been directed to cut negative energetic cords. I don't exactly know what this means. I do know that I can hold myself back and find it hard to let go of the past, especially the hurt.
I am losing faith in my ability to manifest my dreams in Art and Musical projects. I have the Talent, but not the Faith.
There is a lot I hold back, even from the people I love the most. It feels safer to hold my cards close to my chest, but it blocks my heart from opening.
I hate advice, I am stubborn and want things my own way. But I need some guidance on how to cut those cords.
During the circle tonight when we were to choose our fourth loved one my little cat Cleo jumped up on my shoulder and purred. She then laid on my chest on my heart and purred so loudly and long that she fell asleep and snored in my ear. It was very healing for sure. As I type this she is back on my shoulder and purring in my ear. I think she is part parrot.
I’ve been laid off twice this year and have been feeling really depressed. However, I do have an opportunity coming that might be a great one for me. Also, my partner and me are not seeing eye to eye on what I did for my birthday today and it’s been stressful and tense and I don’t know what to do to make things better. It’s been a rough couple of weeks for me!

GhandiGirl, I struggle with this and have most of my life. I have friends in my life who have done nothing but hurt me time and time again but I always let them back in because I'm that type of person.
I have family members that suck the energy from me and the room anytime they enter, and I always welcome them back in because I'm that type of person.
When a bad situation arises, even if it's not life or death, I spiral out of control. Look no farther than my post about my boss last spring in the energetic healing thread.
Identify those things that are causing the hurt and remove them from your life one at a time. If they're people - let them know that they are loved and you'll be here for them, but that you need more positive energy in your life and you can't take on their energy right now. Give them some time and space.
Be more open with the ones you love about the need for that positive energy. One of the hardest conversations I had with my wife happened in 2021 when I finally vocalized what I'd been struggling with my entire life - my anxiety and depression. We talked it out. We talked about me seeing my doctor for advice. And when I denied all prescription meds (fun story: one thing would have treated my depression but given me explosive diarrhea as a common side effect. Another caused black hair to grow on people's tongues in 2% of patients. Another still could cause violent mood swings!) to go the "edible" route we had to talk about all that too. What I'm saying here is I kept those cards close to my chest for a long time and opening up...first to my wife, then to my family, and then to my wider friend group was one of the best things I'd ever done because so many of them were walking similar paths and many of them helped me move forward.

@leebee These are hard things to grapple with but the uncertainty about the new opportunity is a good omen. If you don't get that opportunity it's proof there are still opportunities on the horizon. I will send some light your way for patience and peace!
So the pain has been pretty well controlled, and there were only two little spots on the right side of my chest that were still a little sensitive to touch, so I thought I could just take Motrin to help that and stop the other two. So I did. Four hours after I should have taken the regular dose, my back started spasming, so I thought I would just wait until time for the next dose and start taking everything again. Cool, right?
Then I coughed.
Holy mother of god, I thought I was going to die. I immediately took the missed dose, but now I have personal experience in why doctors tell you to stay ahead of the pain. I'm going to lie down now. I'll see how I feel in the morning as to whether I make another run to urgent care.
