Dolly P. never seemed like a vengeful person, and destroying Epstein's island would not really help anyone. Bringing drought relief seems much more in character!
@ana I'd been wondering how to find meaning for that story when I learned that Dolly had calmed down and ended out giving much needed rain to the island. You are right - it fits Dolly to a T.

@unk-p Sadly? I have to concur unk-p .... he is doing all to destroy our national public lands , our sacred sites and sold to the access to highest bidder....all in service to Netanyahu and Putin. He cares nothing for America, nothing for the us, the common everyday people. We keep fighting, protesting and voting every chance we get..... it can't just be in the courts... because he obviously is giving no heed to the rulings against him and is at the point where he just does whatever he wants... it will take many years to undo the damages he. has done.. and some? will not ever be undone. It breaks my heart... TBS? Broken hearts? Still hope and strive to make a better world for us all.
@journeywithme2 What we can do is work our butts off to get a Democratic majority in both houses of Congress. That is the only way to check t and its minions and hold them to account.
There are plenty of independents and Republicans who dislike t. Remind them of this. Urge them to vote "Dem" downballot whether they like a particular D candidate or not. Is the candidate farther left-leaning than they would like? Tell them they've got to hold their noses and check the "Dem" box if they want t and his corruption and insanity stopped. There is no other way.
An example of a left-leaning candidate who will likely freak out Republican voters is Florida's Angie Nixon, running for US Senate. She is a member of the Democratic Socialists. Her opponent in the primary was Alexander Vindman, who you all may remember as the brave Army officer who testified against t during the impeachment trial in his first term.
I voted for Vindman in the primary, not only because I admire his courage and character, but because I felt he would be easily accepted by the broader electorate. But Ms. Nixon won by a large margin.
Remember, this is Florida. It's going to be hard enough to get a Democrat in the Senate, and with a democratic socialist as the chosen candidate, it's going to be even harder.
I will absolutely support Ms. Nixon but this is going to be a steep uphill battle. This is a case where we are going to have to convince disaffected Republicans that voting for her is a means to an end-- the end of t.
