HI Community, Please let me know of any glitches you've experienced with the Forum. The biggest issues seems to be people who take out an account but say they never receive an email to confirm it.

Any other issues? Please tell me now because one of the Forum originators is willing to fix it for me.

Hi Community, we have fixed the problem we've had of loading oldest posts first.  Now when you click on a topic, you will be taken to the latest post first.  I hope you find this set up more convenient.  You no longer have to click through all the pages of a topic to get to the latest post.

When going to a thread from the "Unread Posts" link (I think I'm the only one who does that! ?), it does still take me to the first (oldest) post, but then it redirects and reloads the page with the latest ,(newest) ones. This is what it was doing before, and this is how I like it, so don't change it! ?

@tgraf66 thanks for the feedback. Well I had to dismantle the “fix” we made that was loading latest posts first because it caused a problem. So it makes sense that you feel it is just doing what it was before.

@jeanne-mayell, Thanks for your efforts. I tend to navigate based on the recent posts listed at the bottom of the page. Clicking there takes me right to the post when I'm not signed in. I was glad when you expanded the number of recent posts listed instead of keeping it at the reduced number. It's not an issue if you shorten the list, I just have to sign in or designate what page to go to in. No biggie!

Some of you have told me you have encountered days where you can't log in. You get "user response missing," or another message that mentions the Captcha. @tgraff66 mentioned these troubles. Well, last night I was able to duplicate this issue on my phone, desktop and laptop. The solution was to clear the cache in my browsers, and empty it completely. I had to not only empty the cache, but close out the tabs, clear history for all time, empty, empty, empty.  Just when you think you've emptied the cache, there is more stuff to get rid of.

I couldn't get Safari to do it completely so I tried Chrome and it worked. Chrome seems to work well, I've been told, when these issues arise. Probably because the captcha is made by Google.

So let me know if this is happening to you so I can start keeping count of how widespread it is.

My nick just has one f, Jeanne. ;-)  Regarding the issue, I haven't had any problem for some time, but recently (the last few days) I've gotten the "user response missing" a couple of times.  I just click on log in again, and it works.  I do use Chrome though, so you may be right about that helping with the problem since it is a Google thing.

@tgraf66 Thanks for the feedback. So glad it's working for you.  I was having trouble with my laptop yesterday, a 2017 MacBook, using Safari, and I discovered the issue and fixed it this morning. You go to Preferences>Advanced>and make sure >Developer is checked. Then get out of Preferences and look at the menu and you will see <Develop>.  Then in <Develop>scroll down and click two items, <user agent: Safari 15> and <Empty Caches>.  Yay.

My developer has taught me to fiddle around with more than one fix.

Hi Community, we are still working on the website but we did have to take it back to the last back up we had that happened before some of the glitches started, which was January 20th.  I have saved all the posts made from January 20th on. So I will be able to put them back up.  But first I want to check over the site and make sure it's working again.Feel free to post if you can. - Jeanne
