Last night, I had an anachronistic dream where emperor Quanlong of Qing became a puppet of the Japanese after a coup as if this was a historical drama. I asked my guides for clarity and they told me that Japan could deflect any attacks from China geopolitically or that China will implode. Can anyone here have a better sense of this dream?
@enkasongwriter We need context to interpret your dream, since it is your dream. We need to know what what does the Emporor mean to you? Wikipedia says he wrote a lot of poetry and created a golden age in the 18th century. But what does he mean to you? If Wikipedia is correct, but it is all I have to go by, then It sounds like you are concerned that the Chinese government (Chinese Communist Party) who are considered in the West as fascist, negative to our interests, and imperialistic, will take over Japan and bring it under their rule. Is that your concern?
@jeanne-mayell If I know about emperor Qianlong, he became complacent with the dynasty near the end of his life as he was spoiled with power. The anachronistic scene can mean that the mighty can fall.
I don’t often remember dreams but last nights dream was odd and I am wondering if it means anything or absolutely nothing at all.
My husband and I were staying somewhere and discovered this big room with lots of comfy chairs and I think a fire and we sat down and we’re getting drinks when someone delivered a message that his daughter was on the phone. We thought what was wrong as with the time difference of 2 hours it would be 2am something must be wrong. He got up to go and take the call and disappeared up a dark corridor but they put something down in front of me so I took a bite it tasted like egg and bacon slice and then got up to follow and I was outside in the street. I walked up the incline past the places looking for the entrance of where we were staying and I couldn’t find it I ended up in amongst houses. I went back down the street and still couldn’t find it, then I started trudging back up past the restaurants and places but I felt very heavy and I was pulling on railings etc to keep pulling myself up to find the entrance. I came up to someone who opened up a bronze coloured like a garage roller door and he told me if I walked down this alleyway there was a door that would take me to where we were staying. I walked down and there was a door and it was unlocked and I went inside and it was a little foyer. That was all the dream but I remember how heavy I felt as I pulled myself along and the taste of the food I ate.
A bit bizarre, probably nothing.
Regards to all
Hello Matildagirl and light working friends,
I was interested in your dream and liked following you through the twists and turns.
My thoughts - Initially you were with your husband in a comfortable relaxing environment. Then an important message comes in the form of time and the number 2. Next thing you know he is led away. Maybe the number 2 is you and husband that then changes to a number of 1-you.
Next your little egg bacon treat comes to your table. It’s a vivid part of the dream so maybe it is about nourishment or just enjoying the treat. Now you end up outside going down the street looking for a door (opening). You are in a neighborhood which maybe refers to comfortable regular type living. With no luck you go back up the steep hill. It sounds like a struggle to keep going but there is a railing there to help and you get through it.
Lastly it leads to a person giving direction to a secret type side alley via the bronze roller door. Down the alley you find an unlocked door leading to a small foyer. Then the dream ends.
My thoughts are that some new path or challenge you will take will require your own self to power through. There is nourishment that you will need to help you find this new way that somehow begins with a new entrance (opening). Maybe the foyer is a new adventure or challenge you will discover and/or go through after much difficulty getting there. In the end it is rewarding (bronze door) and simpler (little foyer).
Hopefully some of that resonates and thank you for sharing!
@matildagirl the big bronze door in your dream resonated with me, remembering from an art history class about famous bronze doors. Looking them up, contemporary and ancient ornamental bronze doors telling stories of the times, including portals to paradise, justice (the American Supreme Court), the doors to the Pantheon built to honor the ancient Roman gods...anyway the theme seems for me to be an important portal. Bronze is an ancient material.
@matildagirl Also, as Tiger-n-Owl notes, the doors are open for you. Someone rolls up the great bronze door for you and the next door is unlocked. It gives me a feeling of promise, the way forward is clear.
@tiger-n-owl Hi prefer your interpretation to my thoughts, mine are darker yours much lighter and hopeful.
Regards
Matildagirl
After thinking about your replies I think this might be about our decision about where we should live now which we are starting to think about. My husband does tend to leave the making things work to me. The aim is for it to be simpler, less maintenance etc living but where to go and what type of place and the selling up and packing up and what to get rid of is daunting and how to start. I feel a bit hopeful now that it will work out (eventually)
Thank you
Moving, oy. Some years ago we moved and I got it started – with a box of sponges (“Magic Erasers”) and began cleaning walls and woodwork with the hope of moving to a quieter spot in our town. Then wrote down a clear description of what we were looking for, like you have started. One thing led to another and within the year we moved (in a sleet storm) to our new place. I guess what worked was to just begin and then keep doing the next thing.
Sending good wishes for a smooth process and just the place you all are looking to have. Your dream has open doors that take you to a foyer, the entrance to a home.
Two interesting dreams this week, and an interesting meditation. In one dream I saw the Pope outdoors in a crowd then went home and saw some headlines about a new pope and felt extremely angry at Seb Gorka for some reason. In the other dream, I was looking down at Miami and the FIU (Florida International University) area seemed very prominent. Streets around it had been blocked off and all the traffic was being directed away from it.
The meditations were interesting. I'm not sure where I was, it seemed like a major city, and I was looking at my phone and saw no bars or even 5G. There was a large string of lights in the sky that looked like a string of pearls and I heard a voice say "Starlink is not what it seems."
While meditating the next day I saw the Mississippi River near Memphis flooding and lots of dead pigs. I know there are multiple pig farms nearby, especially in Arkansas, and a flood could wipe out some of the pig farms, not to mention the water would smell horrid between all of the pig excrement and dead pigs.
I often remember my dreams when I wake. I typically forget them before I've let the dogs out (first order of business here), unless they feel important or prophetic. In that case, I'm still thinking about them after starting my tea or getting myself to the bathroom. The important feeling ones end up on my calendar so I have them documented and dated.
In the last week, I've had two puzzling dreams. I typically don't see wild animals in my dreams, so when I do, they leave lasting impressions. In the last several years, I was seeing birds-namely a Hawk about the size of a T-Rex, and a bald Eagle about the size of a grocery store. However, in the course of the last 6–7 days I've seen big cats who want to play with me. In the first, as a group of us were outdoors enjoying the day on the rocks of a mountainside, suddenly we found ourselves surrounded by leopards, one with a cub. Everyone was scared. I was cautious, not moving where I was seated on a rock. The mother approached with her cub, and wanted to play with my hair, which was in a bun. Everyone ran, but me. I didn't think it wise to move. Last night I was walking around some high rise buildings, on sidewalks which were covered by building overhangs and such, and this lynx kept following me, playing like a dog. Grabbing my hand with its mouth, batting at my clothing, jumping on me playfully. Here again, I wasn't scared-more amused, but cautious, knowing it was wild and could easily misinterpret my movements.
I've googled meanings of what they mean spiritually, in dreams, etc. However, none of the dream interpretations include a big cat playing with you. It attacking you, you attacking it, seeing it caged, killed, so on, are all given meanings, but not playing. I know what resonated with me a bit in reading these interpretations, but I'd like to see if anyone here has something to contribute.
@cindy Your dreams are very interesting!
Some searching on the meaning of lynx and leopards in dreams mentioned, "Dreams about lynx may symbolize instincts, intuition, and secrets. Lynx are also believed to be messengers of change." And
"Similar to our dreams when leopards appear they represents your inner strength, feminine energy, wisdom, knowledge and intuition."
Perhaps the animals are trying to get you to pay attention to your intuition more, your wisdom...releasing your fear of something related to that and embracing it with caution?
The birds you dreamed of also symbolize strength, vision, connection to or messages about your spirituality.
I am sure there are more detailed meanings, but these seemed tied together to me -- all referring to your intuition and wisdom. Interesting! Take what resonates and leave the rest (or discard it all if it doesn't!)
Last night, I had a dream where I went to the bank to withdraw some money but my bank got flagged for some suspicious transaction. I said that the transaction wasn't mine but came from Turkey. The government investigated the suspicious transaction which turns out to be a deep rabbit hole. Afterward, my account was cleared.
@cc21 I had similar reactions to what you noted. It was just strange to me that I'd suddenly get wild animals being prominent in my dreams, when that isn't normal. I was told in a dream last summer or fall that my intuition and spiritual connection was going to take off exponentially, so it fits.
Last night it was bears. LOL I can't really say what the dream was about, as I saw the bears in the cabin I was in, but suddenly one began to paw me. I woke (it was 3 am) realizing that Desi (9-month-old yellow lab) had gotten out of bed, and it was actually her purposely waking me up to help her get back into bed. Naturally, the disturbance was enough to make me forget the details of the dream almost immediately. Not sure on this one, could be a dream about having strength, or just that I had done taxes for both me and dad, and having finances on the brain was being told it would be a bear market for the two of us in the near future. So, yep, three instances of wild animals trying to get my attention in dreams, there's something they want me to see or acknowledge.
I had an odd dream last night. Odd for me, anyway. I was in a small boat with a friend. Suddenly we found ourselves at the crest of a wave, and we dropped over the break of said wave. It felt like the drop on a rollercoaster, only bigger. We didn't crash at the bottom, but the fall felt like it was from stories high. I didn't see a tsunami crashing-only the wall of water on one side of the boat as we fell, but as soon as I stopped falling I found myself looking out a building window, seeing bodies scattered everywhere floating in shallow water or left on dry land. It didn't really have that prophetic feeling to it, but I could not shake it when I woke this morning.
@cindy wow. Interesting dream. Don't forget COVID had several waves. Your dream definitely sounds like it has some important meaning to it. I'm curious to read other people's interpretations on this forum.
Yes, really interesting dream, Cindy! Wow. Even if it didn't feel prophetic, the not-being-able-to-shake-it feeling seems significant. I feel like it could possibly refer to an actual natural disaster, or possibly even the aftermath of whatever results from the upcoming potential indictments of Trump and related people.
Though @chromosomexy , your mention of COVID waves could also be relevant. Either way, perhaps related to an upcoming aftermath of *something* big...just not sure what, but it sounds like it could affect many.
@jeanne-mayell, during the dream, I was just having fun, relaxing before going over the crest of the wave. I was surprised at the sudden fall. It was like we went over the edge of a cliff we hadn't seen. I wasn't scared during the fall, but could feel the descent, even in the boat. It's not like I anticipated a crash at the end or had fear. Nor did I see what was below us-just the wall of water as we descended beside it. I just assumed we'd hit water at the bottom, but I never experienced the end of the fall. The dream shifted immediately to looking out a window (or in between pillars or a door opening-I didn't note the exact opening I was looking through), seeing the aftermath from what felt like a safe space for me. Once I was looking out at the bodies and realized what they were, I felt sad for all involved. I felt bad for those living who were trying to find the living among the bodies, or the bodies of their loved ones. I could feel the anguish of those living and looking through the carnage, and see torment on some of the faces of the deceased, as well as seeing how they physically went through something traumatic in their final moments. After witnessing this short amount of aftermath, the dream was over. Oddly enough, for all its negativity, it didn't have the feel of a nightmare. I don't often have nightmares, but when I do, I feel fear, personal distress, the feeling of wanting to escape or run, minimally to turn away. I didn't experience any of that, it was more like I became an observer instead of a participant once I was out of the boat, if that makes any sense. It also didn't have that extra something that typically makes it feel like this was prophetic, but all morning I kept thinking, "did I see an approaching tsunami or other disaster like a flood?"
