A slightly scarier dream for me the other night - I dreamed distinctly that I took a COVID rapid test at home and it was positive. In the dream I also got congested with a scratchy throat.
Ignoring the "beneath the surface" possibilities and jumping straight to the literal, I still have a few in-person trainings I'm offering before summer vacation sets in and I'm definitely hauling my bag-o-masks and my hand sanitizer with me. Thank goodness I love fasting - I'll be doing that at these as well.
I can relate.
My daughter is getting married in less than 3 weeks.
A had no idea a year ago when she got engaged I would be worried I could have covid on her wedding day, or her father, my daughter the bride, or the groom or any of the MUST HAE AT THE WEDDING people. I am not afraid of dying, I am worried of missing her wedding or any of us miss the wedding. This time last year I was double vaccinated and life seems so much lighter and hopeful regarding covid.
The fear is very REAL right now!! And it keeps growing because people are living in a pretend world where the virus has "disappeared".
I am a unicorn in stores. Today at a brief visit to a grocery store, I was the ONLY one in a mask. Even the pharmacy techs had no mask. One worker had a neck gator on. That was it.
I was shopping near some seniors also who were maskless.

I found the dream interesting from the standpoint of I can't remember ever "feeling" things in a dream before, but I definitely felt a sore throat and could feel the congestion. It was a good reminder to mask up tomorrow and next Tuesday when I do my final in-person events for this school year.
You know, you have the perfect frame of mind. The dream could be a reminder to prepare and be cautious. Dreams that like, ones that capture your attention, they are usually a message of some sort. I like how you are going to heed the warning. May you satay safe in your bubble as well.

@lovendures Yes, it is strange to see everyone else seemingly disregarding a virulent disease. You are doing the best you can for you and your family. You will make it to your daughter's wedding! What a joyous event! You must be so proud.

I had a dream early this morning that two of us were watching a meeting of Putin with a group of his men as either observers or servers (we were unimportant to whatever was happening). A large man in the group grabbed Putin by the head and twisted his neck so that his head was left crooked on his body. It looked painful. The other observer and I took off and were running to get to a helicopter that was supposed to pick us up and evacuate us. A lady followed us shouting to wait and tried to throw a parting souvenir at me but I knew instinctively not to touch it because it was poisoned. We just barely made it to the helicopter and managed to leave. I actually woke up then in physical pain with my heart pumping. I’m not sure what the dream means but I would guess that Putin has real enemies that may try to stop him and it occurred to me that the poisoning part might have to do with Ukrainian grain that they could try to compromise in some way.
If anyone has any other ideas about what this could mean, I would be happy to hear them.
What a dream! The dreams seems pretty literal to me but I catch on the phrase "parting souvenir."
Sadly, you might be right about the grain or some other destructive maneuver that Russia makes if they retreat upon Putin's departure, as salve to their wounded pride. Shudder, I hope not a chemical weapon.
@baba When I think about someone twisting Putin’s neck, it makes me think he’s facing pressure from within his immediate circle. It’s such a violent image and Putin is left disfigured. Whatever Putin’s health problems are, his mental state is further impacted by threats, whether they are real or imagined. He’s not thinking clearly. Putin has left so many poisoned souvenirs behind, from the ruin of Mariupol, to radioactivity stirred up by his troops around Chernobyl, to landmines scattered across the occupied territories. The most positive image of your dream is the fact that you and the other observer were able to escape safely. I hope Ukraine is able to escape this 21st century monster safely, too.
I had another strange dream Re: Putin this morning:
I found myself in a secret compound with people who were taking care of/servants of Putin. He was very sick and needed constant nursing care. I had just been hired as a nurse. The people working there called him by a different name because he was trying to conceal his identity and location, so I wasn’t aware of who he was until I met him. However, everyone working there knew who he was. Putin was throwing a party for the staff on that day when the compound was raided by another government and he was taken away. He was sad and afraid and knew his time was up. Then, all of the staff were rounded up to be interviewed about what they knew. Overall, the dream gave an impression of a very unhappy and unhealthy person who was desperate to have someone like him, but also knew that the end was approaching.
@baba As always you are amazing. For the sake of Ukraine, Russia and the world... I pray your vision of Putin in a concealed medical facility happens soon. Baba, did you have any sense of timing? I'm also intrigued by your statement that "the compound was raided by another government and he was taken away..." A new Russian government perhaps? Hard to concieve of a foreign power reaching so deeply into Russian territory.
I pray everyday for the people of Ukraine and hope the end of this senseless invasion comes soon. As I think of how P**** stealing and withholding grain, which is rotting in ships, only to cause the mass starvation of people, I get sick to my stomach. I struggle not to feel hate toward this evil man and towards IQ45. I just wish they would just go away and give this world a chance to work towards peace. Your visions and dreams give me hope.
Long time reader here, hoping this is a good place to share. A couple of nights ago a dream came out of nowhere that kept me awake wondering what it meant. Not a typical end of day 'brain-salad' dream but of those that seem to have some message.
Here it is: I'm in Ukraine, and in some sort of tomb, which is open to the sky, there is light but more light moonlight. The tomb is deep and square with a bench all around with a memorial structure in the center.
There are many sitting around this memorial, myself included, and, Putin. Everyone has a layer of white dust that seems to be still falling. No one is speaking.
It is like after a death and people have gathered to remember.
I think I woke up and tried to think, if this was a foretelling or a current event.
I distinctly remember seeing Putin there, he seemed to have 'attendants'.
Any thoughts?
@seabreeze welcome to the forum! Interesting dream. Thank you for sharing it. Well, there will be memorials for those who died in a war Putin caused. The fact that he is there makes me think he will retain some territory and have the nerve to hold a memorial to commemorate those who sacrificed their lives to restore the land to Russia. Meanwhile the white dust seems like ashes that are still falling from the fires he caused when he blew the the place up. It’s like a murderer holding a memorial service for the lives he destroyed. The falling ashes are a symbol that the destruction is still fresh, still happening. It’s a powerful dream and because Putin is there, it’s disturbing.
@seabreeze If it were my dream, or as I experience your dream, it seems a foretelling. It may yet be happening in some alternative time stream if such things exist.
The war in Ukraine is over. The dust still settles, perhaps it is the dust of the dead.
In the dark of night in the light of the moon people have gathered to witness and commemorate this ending and to mourn and remember the death and the destruction that was wrought. The tragic deaths of so many. Putin has been brought here to witness the great solemnity of this moment and his role in it.
In a way there is hope in this dream, the war is over and the solemn remembering and mourning lays a foundation of healing for people and for nations. And for the land.
Whew, what a strong dream. Thank you for bringing it forward for others to take part and experience it. It seems to be maybe a part of some planetary healing web of light taking form.
PS Just read Jeanne's reflection. The dream does hold a great heaviness or weight and maybe it has layers of meaning....when I think of attendants I think of hospitals especially forensic mental hospitals where people can be diverted from regular prisons. I have worked in one...
@seabreeze Welcome! And yes, what a dream. For some reason, the "bunker" type memorial and falling ash made me think of nuclear fallout. I hope that is wrong! But maybe indicating a foretelling of a nuclear event in the war with Ukraine. It may be on my mind as I saw something in the news about the Russian's attacking the nuclear plant at Zaporizhzhia today. Perhaps Putin is watching it, as are you and his attendants. Witnessing it, somehow.

Yes the dream experience was very powerful, I felt as if I was there, feeling the coldness down in the ground, the bright moonlight and seeing the falling ash. Then, to turn and see P-- there, even more because he was almost inert, a shell, no movement.He did not travel alone, but with 'handlers' or attendants.
It bothered me and kept me awake for a while, then I fell asleep and dreamt it again.!!
So much detail, I can remember the carvings on the memorial and the green grass all around.
Having been given so much information in my own dreams, I am intrigued by yours. It could be interesting to play with it a bit to see if you can glean more of the meaning.
From the outside looking in, it does seem to have an it-is-all-over-now timbre, i.e., ash, memorial, cold ground and the gathering to "remember." Again, as an outsider attempting to analyze it, Putin's presence with attendants could signify the work of a madman who is now neutralized and controlled.
I agree with Marigold about the potentially hopeful signs in the dream as in regeneration represented by grass and also clearer skies ahead represented by moonlight. I too, thought of the nuclear power plant as CC21 did, but, as much of the country is in ashes already, we will hope the power plant stays intact.
One technique of dream interpretation I have come across that has worked for me is to take the objects and people in the dream, list three words you associate with each to see if there are themes, and then ask (in a relaxed semi-meditative state), "What do you have to tell me?" Or, "What would you like me to know?" The conversation with Putin would be interesting, also the memorial could have a lot to impart. If you try this method, it would be fun to hear what came out of it.

Another way of interpreting the dream would be that Putin has figuratively entombed himself by starting the war. That would be consistent with his need for caretakers.
Can you remember anything about the carvings on the memorial?
I also thought it could be nuclear fallout though I am not sure.
It certainly is a heavy scene and it is Putin caused.
Ashes seem to indicate failure and regret. I wonder if he is coming face to face with what he has caused, death and destruction, all because he is living in the past. Wanting what was at all cost.
He will be remembered though perhaps not how he would wish to be immortalized.
