Jeanne's prediction is that democracy doesn't die, but it does take a beating. I don't see how it can do anything but die if there are another four years of this guy. The beating democracy is taking is happening now. More is unthinkable.
I got that message that "democracy will take a beating but it won't die," back in 2017. I have felt it as a truth and a guiding vision every year since.
I'd seen since 2013 when I had the first vision of a crash in 2020 that it would take a number of years after 2020 to pull the collective back together again. I saw people gravitating away from cities and finding new ways to live without vulture capitalism.
I saw the rise of women and the rise of state and local governments.
I wasn't told who would win the 2020 election, but I was told that there will be hard work ahead to bring us back to wholeness. As far back as 1985, I was shown that after a movement away from the cities, we'd have to climb a cliff. We'd have to get to much higher ground both literally and figuratively. We all, each of us, have to evolve in order for the whole collective to survive. So no matter who continues governing, we will have to find love in our hearts, peace in our thoughts, and we have to transform from within. This means no more hating of "the other," including conservatives.
I was not told who would be sworn in but I saw Biden and a black woman leading in February 2021. I think that counts for something. If Biden and Harris end out running the country, and even if there is a blue sweep, the right wing is not going down without a fight.
Whoever loses will continue for several more years to fight for power.
Perhaps it is just going to take the 2020's to reformat our way of governing and living. We are going to have to get along and think more charitably. We have to be careful not to hate, because hate begets hate. Every negative thing we say about them, they say about us. We have to change that on our end if we are to hope to heal and thrive.
Climate change is going to be escalating in the 20's and that will become our new challenge.
One more thing, The more I think of the vision I saw, the more I think the vulture was looking at the straw man and I felt that the straw man was Trump making spurious distracting and wobbly arguments.
That is a relief Jeanne. Thank you for expounding on your vision. I pray Biden and Harris win and kindness and light burn out vitriol and darkness.
I hope Biden wins, but even if he does, I agree the right wing won't just go away. It will get ugly. Think Obama 2009-2010 on steroids. That could mean it will take us years to arrive at something resembling normalcy, but as long as there is a decent person as president, it will be better than what we've got now. The right wing tried to wreck the Obama presidency (and Bill Clinton's, for that matter) but they didn't kill democracy.
@jeanne-mayell Similiar to your "democracy will take a beating but it won't die" message, I had a message that said "this won't last long" referring to the current administration and the far-right wave.
@fran Thank you, I think I should have explained it better when I wrote it. Thanks for prompting me to describe it better. Describing the whole feeling of a vision is something I still need to work on.
@enkasongwriter I am glad you got that message. You have had some good hits too!
On 2 different read the future nights I saw angels and angel wings for December of this year. It is no coincidence that they popped up for the same month 2 different times.
Hope. I believe they are visions of hope. Whatever is going on in December ( unrest, recounts. court vote battles) we need to have hope. There is hope in December and the angels are with us.
I am sure there will be a lot of violence and unrest with a Trump loss. His armed cult will not go easy and Trump will be right there to fuel them with as much hate mongering as he can muster. Ive said for a long while that the best hope for America right now is that Trump does not make it to the election, be it withdrawing for scandal, behind the scenes agreement, or health reasons. That is the only way to ease the vitriol that will come from a blue wave.
Does anyone still see him going dark or not making it to the election as the GOP candidate?
