@jeanne-mayell interesting vision. What if the vulture means Biden won’t finish his term? I pray this does not happen. But he could be the “straw man” or symbol we voted for but not ultimately the one who is ruling. His eyes closed and smiling may mean he is at peace.
@jeanne-mayell, @paul-w, @pamp,
In the past I’ve posted that I never saw Hillary in the Oval Office. Instead, I would always see a dark, grey mist. I was very nervous the night of the election, but my rational mind refused to believe that T could win. Now I see Biden/Harris winning, but .... I'm feeling uneasy about it.
Jeanne, do you remember about a year ago, some of us saw Pelosi temporarily sharing WH governance with someone else, maybe a Republican? The shared governance thing really confused us, but now it’s making some sense. I believe all of the legislatures in the swing states are Republican. If we don’t win by a landslide so that T. can claim the election was "stolen," he can pressure those Rep legislators to put forward contested slates of Electoral College electors, thus creating further chaos and confusion. Of course his intention is to nullify the election.
If this occurs, there are two possible legal scenarios, which I pulled from a Newsweek article:
“(1) The Supreme Court could potentially disqualify electors on the basis that their state's results are too unclear to certify before the December 14 statutory deadline when the Electoral College must meet, thereby throwing the entire election to the U.S. House of Representatives for resolution, as set out in the 12th Amendment to the Constitution; or
(2) the Supreme Court might point to the Electoral Count Act of 1887, which states that the House and Senate together will decide which Electoral College electors are to be legally recognized, thus requiring Congress to decide which Electoral College slate in each of the contested states to certify.”
@lowtide addressed this in an earlier posting with that Newsweek link:

I can't see who will be president, but I do have a general unease, a kind of sick-to-my-stomach feeling I had during the lead up to the 2016 election. I hope it's nothing.
When I just try to think logically, I think Biden must win because I don't see how the US recovers from a second trump term. Everything will be gone -- the courts, the post office, Social Security, free elections. He's brazen and unleashed now. A second term will be terrifying.
Jeanne's prediction is that democracy doesn't die, but it does take a beating. I don't see how it can do anything but die if there are another four years of this guy. The beating democracy is taking is happening now. More is unthinkable.
@deetoo Trump mentioned something like this recently. I try to tune him out so I didn't watch the whole thing. He said something to the fact that if we don't know who the winner is then Pelosi would be in charge. And we can't have that right?
Something jogged my memory at that point, something I read here. All these things happening, we never thought could ever be, but they may be. We have to keep looking up, with light and hope. It's scary and sometimes uncertain, but I'm not giving into the fear. It's bad juju.
Peace dear friends - God willing we will be done with the filth soon. Then someone's got to really Chlorox the White House. And lots of Sage too!
@febbby23, that's so funny you mentioned cleansing with sage. I was thinking that very thing yesterday! Maybe once he's defeated and gone, we can do a virtual group cleansing ceremony with white light and sage?
My boss actually shared this with me - it was pretty amusing! I had never seen it.
I'm worried about a Clorox and sage shortage. ?
I think what people are seeing surrounding the election is that Twitler does not plan on going gentle into that good night. He has been and is exploring every option for staying in power. Losing the election will bring to fruition his two biggest fears, going to prison and being perceived as a loser.
Only his knuckle-dragging supporters can't understand that he is prepping for an authoritarian coup, and those who do understand that don't care.
I have to believe that top brass Dems know this and are preparing for it.
"I did see during the Inauguration, a large group of people in tall black top hats standing around. "
An alternative explanation could be past presidents coming to make sure Biden is inaugurated and democracy lives on.
@fran No, Frannie, I gently want to explain that the vision I had did not mean that, and I can explain why. Sometimes, when I share a vision I don't explain it well. It is not about Biden and the ill health that so many Republicans and dark political operatives are spreading around the Internet. His health is fine. He's a gentle man who has been through a lot. If anyone's health is in danger it is Donald Trump who lives on junk food, is overweight, and sweats like a pig.
Also @fran, I need to explain the straw man better so you will see it the way I saw it. The man was not at peace and he was not a human. He was fooling people and he was wobbly and fake. I heard the word, "straw man" and had to look up the definition. The definition of straw man is a phony distraction that attempts to fool people into ignoring what the real issue is.
Biden is not a phony and would not wobble. His presidency would never be a straw man and that wouldn't fit the definition of straw man. Trump is a phony and can wobble. He knows he can't be a legitimate president but is capable of trying to create a straw man excuse for staying in office, and weasel his way into staying president. I do not think he will get away with it if this is what he does. He will try, but it would amount to a coups d'etat if he tried and the country would go crazy against him.
I think the vulture was looking at the straw man, Donald Trump, whose time is limited and cannot distract his way into staying in office.
