@2ndfdl I'm sorry....but I like In n' Out more than Whataburger. When I came to Houston 11 years ago loved Whataburger but new places popped up. I like Five Guys more, I like Shake Shack more. I love In N' Out because it's 100% beef made fresh and even it's small compared to Whataburger it's cheap and easy to eat without a lot of calories for the burger.

@unk-p I want more dumpling places. There is a food guy named Mike Chen who was in Houston and he has a video.

@enkasongwriter

What is happening in India is simply tragic.

When the entire world was sharing the same dread  last year, it felt as if we were all united in fighting the same foe.  Now, so many nations are in different places.  India is desperate and even oxygen has disappeared from most all supply chains.  Here in the U.S. we will soon be in a place where we can't give a vaccination away so many are refusing one, and will have too much. Hopefully we will share more than our AstraZeneca  unapproved doses with the world.

We may be in the same ocean, but some are treading water and others have a cruise ship to navigate the waters in.  Though the U.S. has covid extremes right now, but nothing like friends in India.

Anyone saw the biden speech tonight?

He was real confident. Nice to have a running government again.

I think one of the ideas he highlighted was expanding in voting rights... Hopefully that passes thru.

@blackandwhite I agree with you. I so appreciate the way President Biden speaks to us. He has the gift of encouragement and he uses it well. He wants everyone to succeed.  It’s heartening and inspiring to have his leadership. He “gets” it.

@lowtide

Man you know what kills me ?

I have a republican colleague here at work and he told me he watched the speech and did not notice a single lefting thing. He told me biden was proposing common sense moderate ideas to improve the country.

But it kills me that the republicans on the hill still find the time to rebuttal a "common sense" plan, even after the threat to democracy abroad.

There is no bipartisanship anymore, republicans made sure if it.
