I may be crazy, but I hope TFG does get the Republican nomination.   Then when he is charged/indicted/convicted, and he loses the ability to serve in a public role, the Republicans will be in total disarray and the Democrats will easily take over.

@jovesta Interestingly, if he is found to have intentionally removed or destroyed classified documents from the WH, he can be barred from ever holding any office anywhere in the US Gov't.

@allyn

I think you may be onto something regarding some of the social media posts being fake and the MAGAts not being as large in number as being portrayed (sorry, it's late and I'm sleepy so I'm likely not quoting you very well).

I've been consulting my Akashic records recently and they keep telling me to watch for sleight of hand and deceit.  This came to me as a picture like in martial arts when your opponent is making large moves with one hand to distract you and then strikes you with the hand you're not paying attention to.

Another big theme is about not getting caught up in the haziness or fear that 'they' are generating. That's it's not real but manufactured to get us stuck and trap us in confusion and fear.

Many of my impressions are not just in words but in feelings, and what you're saying resonates with the feeling impressions I have regarding this and other world events right now.

Don't get me wrong, what is happening in the world is serious and the Akashic let me know there are difficulties ahead, but not to get wrapped up in the fear around it.

There are more messages I'm getting, but as mentioned it's late (almost 1am!) and I'm not confident I'm making sense at the moment.

I also wonder if part of the FBI going in for documents has to do with Ukraine and Russia?

Given what led up to the first impeachment I wouldn't be too surprised.

Also, Merrick Garland went to Ukraine in June. Could part of the reason be to investigate what led up to the invasion? Beyond the advertised reasons he went, that is.

DeSantis (commonly known by some of us as Death Satan). We live in Florida and I can tell you he is not the “beloved governor” the media makes him out to be. Every time I look at him it’s like I see the darkness in his soul. He is TFG 2.0, more arrogant and  narcissistic.  His arrogance and ego are going to be his downfall. I don’t see him being the nominee for president. I can’t explain it but I just don’t see it, or feel it. I maybe wrong. I know people who work in the healthcare field (nurses, doctors, nurse practitioners, physicians assistants) and they believe the COVID-19 death rate was under reported. That’s why his name is Death Satan. Do I have actual proof? No I do not.

As to him helping TFG , he’ll do anything and everything within his power , after all it was his endorsement that gave him the governorship.

@susan-daisy

I live in Florida and I don't know a single person who likes Death Satan.

I don't think even the rural population likes him that much-- he's too slick and "citified" for them to relate to.

None of the major newspapers have anything good to say about him.

Having said that, I live in a "blue" enclave so my view may be distorted.

It’s such a stark dichotomy- visions of him fleeing- how shocking an unspoken admission of guilt that would be. It’s actually hard to believe in a way because he never backs down or admits defeat, the idea of him in a mental hospital feels about right but who would put him there? His kids on the other hand, they’ll do what it takes for self preservation and Greece sounds lovely.

And on the other hand running and getting the nomination for president.
personally I feel he’s toast re his political future. A huge signifier to me is I live in the twin cities but when I drive home to see my parent in eastern Wisconsin trump signs have been replaced with blue lives matter- a dog whistle of sorts but while trump believers won’t rescind  their support for trump and vote for reps who support(Ed) him I no longer feel like they will actually vote for him.
anyway, there don’t seem to be any half measures with trump, no painting projects or book writing.

Also about DeathSantis---few people understand or remember the circumstances of his election in 2018.

His Democratic opponent, Andrew Gillum, was a popular mayor of Tallahassee.  He seemed to me to be a good person, doing good things.  But he had baggage-- there were accusations of his mishandling funds and accepting illegal gifts even at the the time of the election.  (Also he's black and that didn't help.   😣 )

DS ran on an environmentalist platform, mostly.  His margin of victory was narrow.  Had Gillum not not had the cloud of suspected scandal hanging over him, he likely would have won.

DS has done some useful things for the environment down here-- and so at first I thought maybe he wasn't so bad-- but after his first year or so he began showing his true MAGA colors.

I think a less controversial Democrat could beat him.  We've got Charlie Crist and Nikki Fried (Agriculture Secretary) vying for the D nomination.   Fried has been using some nasty, MAGA-style tactics in her flyers (misquotes, lies, outdated info) so I will vote for Crist.  He is a decent man -- a former Republican governor who defected from the party on moral grounds and is now a Democratic congressman.

To follow up on Andrew Gillum-- he ended up being convicted of wire fraud and a number of other offenses.  And after he was defeated for governor he had a breakdown and went off the rails doing drugs.  So maybe he wouldn't have had the mental fortitude to be governor anyway.  Sigh.  I feel sorry for the guy. My vibes say his legal violations likely occurred because he was naive and ignorant of the laws. (But you wouldn't want an governor that was that ignorant.)

Bottom line is there really was no good choice in the 2018 Gov. election in this state.

@allyn

I can think of just 4reasons why anyone would steal documents:  1) whistleblower exposing wrong doing _ I think we can all agree this wouldn’t be the case 2) for leverage or power over someone - blackmail 3) to protect yourself or someone you care about and 4) to sell for $$ or to save yourself

i personally feel it’s either 2 or 4

p.s really looking forward to next read the future night results

Q: So when did the DOJ start treating removal of classified documents like a felony anyway? A: When President Trump signed a 2018 law making it a felony.
