What’s going on? Is Graham scared ?

Who am I to advise my Democratic colleagues about what to do,” Graham reportedly said, according to CBS journalist Alan He.

Censure would probably gain some bipartisan support,” he said, adding that “the country going through an impeachment trial would be traumatic and I think we should avoid that if possible.” Traumatic for whom? Poor T I think it would be too dramatic for his lies/crimes to catch to T and the “Republicans.”

I’m hoping for the good of the country that it doesn’t come to the Senate,” he added.- For the good of the country is for T to resign and takes his corrupt administration and his wife and kids and be gone.

@baba--and others who've commented today on Kamala Harris' withdrawal:

During our group reading on 11-11-19 when looking forward to Jan. '21, I asked, "Where's Kamala?" and got this:

"I'm shown her wearing red or a deep pink and am told that she has aligned herself graciously and will be a pivotal force."

In previous meditations, I consistently saw her as an important presence during the presidential transition in '21, and throughout the next administration.   While I'm disappointed this current run for President didn't work out for Kamala (I went to some of her rallies, I donated, I talked her up to friends!), there are, of course, very strong, very positive, and very wise energies at work.  I believe she will continue to be placed strategically, protecting and advancing our democracy by serving in positions of prominence, as well as behind the scenes.

Baba, your meditation practice inspires me--thank you for sharing it! May of us feel the pain of being disconnected from family and members of our communities who have been brainwashed by the GOP/Faux news propaganda machine which prays upon their fears and need for belonging. I will join you in praying that the blindfolds come off and our country will unify to preserve The Constitution and democracy. We will need less division and greater mutual support to get through the coming years of increased climate-related disasters.

Poor T he can’t catch a break. Yesterday while some world leaders were conversing almong themselves some of their conversations was caught on tape.

The clip features parts of a conversation between the three foreign leaders, and though Trump’s name isn’t explicitly used, it certainly appears the men were referencing – and mocking – the hapless American president.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, French President Emmanuel Macron and the U.K.’s Boris Johnson, among others, were caught on video.

Trudeau, in particular, took note of Trump's staff and their “jaws dropping to the floor” during one of Trump’s rants.

At a certain level, this isn’t too surprising. Many have long assumed that world leaders privately ridiculed the American president’s buffoonery, so it hardly comes as a shock to see video proof of the kind of private conversations that seemed inevitable.

Trump assured Americans a couple of years ago, “We don’t want other leaders and other countries laughing at us anymore, and they won’t be. They won’t be.”

It’s painful to realize the degree to which he got this backwards.

Yeah, he left the NATO Summit early in a snit after seeing that video.  Here is a good article: https://thebulwark.com/if-america-wont-take-care-of-our-allies-russia-and-china-will/?utm_source=afternoon-newsletter&utm_medium=email Of Course Trump Was Laughed Out of the NATO Summit by SHAY KHATIRI DECEMBER 4, 2019 10:31 AM

I think he makes a very good point about the importance of our allies. I think that is why I lean more towards Biden as a candidate because he has a history, personal relationships with many of the people in leadership, if not their PMs as well as relationships within our state and diplomatic corps-- he will need to ramp up and restaff State as well as rebuild and strengthen international and political alliances.

You were spot on!

I don't know which is scarier; that he wasn't embarrassed to tweet that ridiculous photo, or that he sees himself that way.

I was reading today that a psychiatrist said his lies aren't even lies anymore; they are delusions of grandeur.  He is that detached from reality.  Terrifying.

As I was doing my daily meditation today sending light to the US and the situation there, I had a very different and puzzling vision towards the end that I noted afterwards:

I see a sea of people gathered around the Whitehouse all in a silent group and all carrying lit candles. It isn’t a boisterous or loud protest but one in which they all strive as a group to bring light to the darkness.

I have no idea what this means but it did not feel like a celebration and the mood was serious. The Whitehouse seemed dark on the inside (don’t know if that was literal or figurative).

If anyone has any thoughts on this, please feel free to share. I felt a little unsettled by it but mostly puzzled about what it means and what would cause this to happen.

This reminds me of a vigil either for someone who has died or someone who is dying(?). Did it feel more negative or positive overall? In this case, it feels like a representation of the national mood right now; those of us on the side of light are trying desperately to save our democracy and preserve our institutions, but so many of us are in the dark and/or prey to the dark forces currently occupying the White House.

@nelysthealchemist the mood felt solemn but not sad and there was an air of quiet resolve about the crowd. You could be right that it is representative of those trying to bring light to the situation.
@TriciaCT I wasn’t aware of the march on Sunday but in the vision, I clearly saw the Whitehouse surrounded by a sea of people holding candles. I usually try to envision light and people holding hands during that particular meditation, but the vision returned to the above scene, so I decided to try to understand what might be happening.

Hmm...honestly, I hope it's a sign that the citizens of the US will take the many offenses Trump has committed more seriously and "wake up." I still feel like there are too many of us who don't take Trump's offenses seriously anymore (maybe due to extreme cynicism and normalization of his behavior), or those who are actually deluded. Maybe there will be a significant awakening soon?

I think it’s more like normalization of his behaviors

I keep feeling we're fighting battles we will lose, for now anyway.  I never see the opposition regaining control of the executive or judicial branches.

So to me, this is a vigil mourning the death of democracy itself.

Last night I meditated and decided to pull one tarot card (Rider Waite deck). My question was: Will Drumpf or his minions win the election next year?  The card I pulled was The Emperor (upright).  I took this to mean that TPTB will be happy with the result, that all will go well for them, that power will continue to consolidate to the top. This did not make me happy...

But I'm not the best at tarot interpretation so I'm open to others.

You may be correct but if you have strong feelings about this, especially strong fears, you will pull your fears. You pulled a card that told you how you see the world.  I don't know what will happen, although I have finished compiling Read the Future night and about to send out an email about it.  I can say that the vast majority saw a blue sweep.  I feel it's going to be a tricky election or I should say a trick-filled election.

Yes- maybe it's just my mood right now more than anything, but it does feel like a vigil for our democracy. Good thing I don't use tarot anymore; my readings were always a reflection of my own mental/emotional state (when I used to do a reading for myself), especially if my question was about a situation with a specific outcome I was attached to. Hopefully things will change for the better...

If anyone wants a sneak preview of the 11-11 Read the Future predictions, I would like to get a website donation of $15 or more.  The process took about 40 hours of work and contributions will help pay web costs.  If you already donate monthly, I am sending them to you today compliments. I will post them on the site in another few days.
