Thank you @lynn - you answered so many questions that I have been pondering lately in my own life of seeing the people around me in a new light. I could not quite grasp the whole "power over someone else concept" nor the entire "attention accolades" thing. This really brought some things to light for me. Thank you.
You're welcome Gaining clarity! So much damage in the world is caused by people who feel powerless, and for whom negative action feels more empowering, so this is what they do. We're all susceptible to it, and at times succumb. It's the human condition. But we must fight it within ourselves and call it out when we see it. And try to defeat it.
I think we all need some comic relief. Have you heard the story about the doctored Presidential Seal? Early this week the orange troll addressed the Teen Student Action Summit, predominantly made up of his young supporters. The Summit began with a short video about T*’s rise to the WH – excuse me while I gag – and then T* bounced onto the stage to a cheering audience. Stretched across the jumbo-tron screen behind the unwitting dufus was a large presidential seal, modified as follows:
- The eagle was not the one selected by the Founding Fathers, but instead, bore a striking resemblance to the two-headed imperial bird lifted straight from the Russian coat of arms.
- Instead of holding 13 arrows - a reference to the 13 original states - the eagle in the doctored seal clutches a set of golf clubs in its left claw.
- Instead of the olive branch that appears in the right talon, the doctored bald eagle clings onto a wad of cash.
- The official seal’s motto, "E pluribus unum," which translates from Latin to "out of many, one," was swapped with a different quote in Spanish: "45 es un títere" which translates to "45 is a puppet".
The event coordinators claim that the incident was just a terrible Google search mistake. The person held responsible, a member of their audiovisual team, was fired.
The doctored seal was created by Charles Leazott, a graphic designer who had voted for Dubya twice, but who was so turned off by T**** that he created the seal as a catharsis. Leazott’s fake seal shirts are selling like crazy, so he revived the website for his brand, OneTermDonnie, where 10 percent of all sales will be directed to the ACLU. https://one-term-donnie.myshopify.com/

The fact that the creator is a Republican just makes me giggle and gives me hope.
While I would never identify with Republicans, knowing there are those who are fighting against 45 gives me reason to believe our country will be okay.
@yogagirl, You're one of the bright lights in Kentucky. I love and admire your resilience, wisdom, kindness and irreverent humor. And over time, I believe your amazing light will help lead your fellow Kentuckians out of their self-imposed darkness.

That said, my personal sense of what we popularly regard as spirit guides probably isn't very ...well, popular. I'll only say here that it's incredibly important imo to become both highly discerning about the nature of spirit influence, and well-developed in our capacities to trust our own wisdom, first and foremost.
@cindy Thank you for sharing your dream! I interpret it positively. There seems to be a collective of former presidents and others (e.g., Eleanor Roosevelt) working together. (I recall some of us talking about this here last fall. Maybe you were one of them?) And I wouldn't be surprised at all if the higher aspects of Presidents Carter, Bush Jr., and Clinton were joined with them—or if you were seeing a future in which they will be.
Nixon stands out to me right now as a voice in DT's head, but I can only speculate about why that is. He seems to be in a much improved condition than he would have been shortly after death, but he's not yet as far progressed as other former presidents (including Reagan, interestingly enough). Because of this, Nixon may actually be better able to connect with Trump. Not because they're similar (regardless of Nixon's crimes, I don't think they are), but because his energy is closer, relatively speaking, to the earth plane.
Or it could just be that Nixon has decided he wants the job. Maybe it's a kind of service or amends. I say this because I feel he's trying to persuade Trump to walk away. (With a dark hoard attachment, I'm not sure how effective that can be.)
As for your description of Pelosi's strategy, I tend to agree. She's waiting for greater leverage. And I sense she knows how to play T at his own game. He's been wielding the weapon of dirty information to threaten partisans to ask, "How high?" whenever he shoots them a glance. She's been dreaming of grabbing him by the balls with the whole pandora's box (taxes, deep intel, all of it) and whispering in his ear, "Jump, Donny."
I don't know whether or not she'll succeed. But I can hope.
@Yogagirl, have you listened to NPR's Embedded podcast series on Mitch McConnell? It's excellent reporting if super scary.
If I believed there were literal reptilian aliens taking over world governments, I'd have my money on Mitch as some kind of dark deputy commander. He's been eerily diabolical since at least his high school student council days. (And he was precisely as popular back then, which is to say not in the least. Says a lot about just how diabolical we're talking.)

As sickened as I was by the installation of Twitler, I was way more terrified by the Repubs having control of the Senate and by the cabinet he assembled. There has not been a more evil, corrupt and fascist collection of people in power in the USA ever, in my opinion.
I don't know how much more the country can stand. We need him to self-destruct sooner rather than later.
