If you have facebook, search for

David Abel

He is a passenger on the Diamond Princess and has been posting and doing videos since they have been quarantined.  He has the most positive outlook of the whole situation.  Truly inspiring.  He is a diabetic and for much of the first day in quarantine had gone over 15 ( I believe) hours without food which put his life in danger. He is ok now and his outlook is so fantastic.  We have a lot to learn from him.  He finds gratitude in the situation he has found himself in.

He is a delightful heart warrior.

28,289 confirmed cases

565 deaths

1291 recovered

An additional 10 people were confirmed to have the virus from the Diamond Princess ship docked in Jaapn and under quarantine.  This brings the total to 20 passengers with the virus.

Heartbreaking news.

Heroic Dr. Li Wenliang who noticed 7 patients with SARS-like symptoms in December and tried to warn the world about it but was silenced by police has died from the virus.  He was 34

After being released from police he went to work on the front lines.  He had hoped to go back and help after he recovered which unfortunately never happened.

Holland America Line has been notified that the Japanese Government will not permit Westerdam to call in Japanese ports," the cruise line stated in a press release provided by Public Relations Director Erik Elvejord. "The ship had been scheduled to call to Ishigaki Island, Naha, Okinawa, Nagasaki and Fukuoka (Hakata), before its scheduled turn in Yokohama on Feb. 15, where the next cruise was scheduled to embark."

The cruise line is working quickly to develop alternate plans for the remainder of the 14-day East Asia cruise, which had already moved disembarkation point from Shanghai, China, to Yokohama.

They have also been denied a scheduled port stop in the Philippines.

The cruise began in Hong Kong.

WOW!

Japan says 61 cases total now from The  Diamond Princess ship off Yokohama.

8 are Americans. Many have not had any health checks at all.

Check out Dr. Dena Greyson's twitter page- it is really scary stuff. She thinks the numbers are much higher than reported. No cure. Very sad.

No cure yet, although there is a med that they are trying on people with initial, but way too early to tell, good results.  Also there will be a vaccine, although it takes nine months to develop a vaccine.  My earlier graph no longer looks like it is slowing down.  The problem is that we can't really know what the true numbers are in China because the state controls the information.  The way they are behaving over there, however, indicates it is quite bad there.

Hi All,

Long time, and usually too shy to post, member here. Just wanted to toss in a suggestion for what might help support your body. My mom told me about this the other day and I'll need to get better details when I talk her later today, but wanted to write the jist of it: Something about gargling with salt water and then also doing one of those nasal cleansing things with salt water as well (I think it's just called a nasal cleansing pot that you use). The point is to help clean and disinfect those little pockets and crevices internally around the nasal cavity so that bacteria has a hard time breeding there. Not sure the exact ratio of salt to water, which is what I want to ask her, but maybe some of you are already familiar with the remedy and can chime in, otherwise, that's why google exists :-)

I live in Texas and haven't heard of it hitting here yet, but have already stocked up on water, non-perishables, t.p, and other basics for at least 4 months, of course had to put it all on the credit card, but hey if it doesn't get too bad out here then at least I don't have to shop for these things I normally get any way for 4 months. Also got some masks and some biodegradable disposable gloves from Amazon. I keep some in my car for when I need to get gas and don't want to touch the pump, for example.

Blessings and Golden White Light to all the Members and Non-Members here, may you all be held in love and comfort to get through this shared moment in our time line.

@curiousgem Thank you for your ideas and welcome officially to the community!  Those nasal pots are great and they come with salt packets so you don't have to measure it.  Thanks again for your mother's advice.
