ASU Football is in trouble. ASU Head Coach Herm Edwards, multiple student-players and other coaching staff members tested positive for coronavirus. They have now canceled their upcoming game against CAL this week. Edwards said he and his family are feeling fine.

Washington state is shutting down again because of rising Covid numbers. Governors Jay Inslee issued the sweeping orders today. “Today, Sunday, November 15, 2020, is the most dangerous public health day in the last 100 years of our state’s history,” Inslee said in prepared remarks. “A pandemic is raging in our state. Left unchecked, it will assuredly result in grossly overburdened hospitals and morgues; and keep people from obtaining routine but necessary medical treatment for non-COVID conditions.”
I had hoped it wouldn’t come to this, but here we are.
Wow! That is a strong statement by Inslee. I think this is a wise move. Unfortunately we have come to this...again. I hope my state will consider taking similar action, though it is doubtful here.
The new restrictions make me so sad, even knowing it’s for the best. Yesterday, I was running errands and came across some people without masks (mandatory mask order in WA state) protesting the Biden election, waving flags and shouting about freedom. They held signs saying, “rip off your masks!” All the while, the pandemic rages on.
Michigan going down too starting Wednesday. Press conference tonight. It appears that they're going to close HS's but not ELE and Middle Schools - and as ancillary staff I feel like I fall under the "work that can be done from home MUST be done from home rule" and that my Superintendent will disagree.
Also, I feel like it's a toothless lockdown (which again I get -- the legislature stripped Whitmer of her powers and the health department can only do so much) - Salons - open. Bars and restaurants - open (for carry out), Gyms - Open. HS's - closed. Theatres: Closed. Colleges - Closed.
Honestly I feel like this is overdue, but I'd like to point out again for the record -- we didn't have to get to this point.

Please pray for the focus to shift to forgiveness, truth, generosity, kindness and taking care of one another. I feel if it was, my governor would care more about taking care of the health of the citizens than his re-election and politicizing mask wearing.
