there is a lot to be said for compulsory voting and our preferential system. Also an independent electoral commission to oversee elections and do any redistributions of electoral boundaries so there is no gerrymandering. It works well here in Australia.

I've wanted the United States to adopt your voting system for a long time!

I threw cards today on T and, well, it is a difficult time to predict because there are so many energy cross-winds blowing. But it was such a strong card message that I just have to share it.

I asked how T would be feeling each week from the first of May.

FOR MAY: The first four cards (from left to right) show he's doing okay.  He thinks he's fooling people with his made up narratives about Hormuz, how there's a ceasefire, even though there is not a ceasefire. And in the end, as our @tonya predicted in early April, he will give up on the war near the end of April, declare victory (even though he lost and caused unspeakable harm) and walk away.

FOR JUNE: Then comes the second four weeks, starting in June. He is suddenly  not doing well at all. In fact, the contrast between May and June is extraordinary.

@jeanne-mayell Wow.  D card and Tower card.  Impressive.  I like it.

@jeanne-mayell   Jeanne, I was wondering how you would read the final card- Wealth.  It seems odd for wealth to be following Death, The Tower, and Failure.

Trying to apply what I learned in your class, what I see are shiny golden coins on top of a pile of gray ones.   It seems like the gold coins are rising to the top of the pile.  Could this be interpreted as wealth exposed?  I.e., people seeing how much t has enriched himself off of his position?

Or would you interpret it another way?  I also notice that the coins have different symbols on them and wondered what they mean.

@bluebelle and @ana I interpreted the D card as something he is trying to push away, stop, as in some kind of event or exposure that he cannot talk his way out of.

The Tower then means something catastrophic, that would cause his reign of power to collapse.  The wealth card left me curious.  As you know, when we interpret with too much detail, we get into our thinking minds and that can distort what the energies are saying. That said, if I stare at that card,  I feel the wealth card could mean that the oligarchy turns on him and steamroll over his power.

So I threw more cards on the Wealth card (ten disks).  Keep in mind that it is a TEN card, and tens in general stand for completion.  When I asked what was happening for T, I saw him scared, even trembling at what the wealthy oligarchs who have most of the power are going to do to him.

July is quieter for him, no actions against him. But August shows him becoming more isolated.  A month ago, I had posted about that increasing isolation coming this year.  Thinking it might be from too much stress or some censoring or side-lining that is happening about him.

In the end, there are too many damaging events piling up upon him. Of course the left is repulsed by his cruelty, but even those who look the other way from the cruelty, will not tolerate his crashing the economy. Then there are those Epstein files.

Multiple hits and predictions unfolding: It's leaking that the Administration is hiding the amount of damage the iranians have done to our military in the Middle East. They actually got two satellite companies to dull the images on the ground so no one could see the damage.  T and H are also hiding the cost of the war in US tax dollars.

It's a hit that we (@baba) predicted T's actions taken in late Feb would cause a seismic, game-changing shift in T's fortunes. Also @earthangel had a prediction comparing T to Icarus, the unfortunate young man who, in an act of immature recklessness, flew too close too the sun.  So T attacked Iran in a fit of hubristic recklessness in late February and, like Icarus, his wings are now melting from the sun, i.e., the truth he can't hide. Put another way, he kicked a hornet's nest and is now rolling it, along with widespread collatoral damage.

We have so many predictions about T's downfall that I don't need to make another, but now news outlets managed to get around his attempts to blur satellite images of the damage Iran has done to the US Military, and they're posting it now, including images of US fighter jet parts on the ground.

Meanwhile, the Viriginia Supreme court just struck down the redistricting referendum that people there voted for. Between this and the way the Southern States are eliminating majority black districts down south to ensure they have no representation, I don't know how much hope to have. We're entering a new era of Jim Crow in a way, and I don't see anything being said about it or anything being done about it. It's like what is the point of voting if the Repugs in charge are going to keep pulling crap like this.

@freya I am so glad Governor Kemp in Georgia held the line again. He is an old school Republican and I can respect that. He and Gabriel Sterling saved Georgia by telling the truth in the 2020 election and I commend them for that. He has been a pretty good governor, so I give credit where it is due. I have policy differences with him but at the end of the day he did the right thing. He will not delay the primary's and said any redistricting would have to happen after that.

Not sure this is a prediction, I question myself. Last night I had a vivid dream of an explosion and people dead underground not sure if under rubble or truly underground. Some people at the site afterwards were laughing and making light of it but were reprimanded by others that said people had died there.

Leebee, I am so glad you came to us today. I understand how painful and discouraging this has been for you. What is happening with voting rights and representation is not small, and for Black Americans especially, it cuts into generations of struggle and sacrifice. Of course you are exhausted and angry.

But please don’t give up hope. Don’t let them win in advance.

You have already shown so much strength and perseverance here in this community, including through your job struggles and successes. Hold onto that same strength more than ever now. It will be like pumping iron.

In his landmark book On Tyranny,  historian Timothy Snyder lays out how democracies begin to erode—and how people can help turn the tide when authoritarian movements gain ground. One of the most important things he says is this: never give up. Never obey in advance. Stay engaged. Stay courageous. Keep showing up.

Ironically, when things feel darkest is often when the pushback begins to build.

Now, when Trump is weaker and more unstable politically than he appears on the surface, is not the time to retreat. It is the time to vote, to speak, to protest, to stay informed, and to stand shoulder to shoulder with others who care about democracy and justice.

And when you said you don’t see anything being said or done, I actually do see growing outrage across the country over these rulings and over what is happening to voting rights. Many people are alarmed. Many people are pushing back. The story is not over yet—not even close. We are more aware than ever in our history that SCOTUS is broken. I believe it will be one of the first reforms once the dems get back in power.

I am so glad to hear from you.

We are going to keep fighting for a better day, together.
