Hunch, intuition or prediction - not sure. I think that when Vlodomir Zelinskyy has completed his task as President of Ukraine, he will be elevated to a high position of power with the European Union. His country is seeing, and will be leading, the the way to shape the future of defending Europe.

@higgimic1020gmail-com   The attack at the correspondent's dinner could be possibly be used as convenient reason to fire Patel, if they do want him out.  It could be claimed (rightly or wrongly) that the FBI should have known the gunman was a danger...?

Does anyone have any visions on how the recent Supreme Court ruling on voting will affect the midterms? My personal feeling is that it will not stop the inevitable, it will energize voters even more.

@averylegacy unfortunately MAGA-controlled States are beginning to postpone the primaries for the US Congressional election this fall. Such action is based on the unconscionable US Supreme Court decision you refer to… States now have a chance to racially gerrymander as much as they can to ensure that Republicans win even more congressional seats in both Houses.

My sense is they’ll fail. I keep seeing incredibly long lines next November that will overwhelm and shock the GOP.

@freya I don't know how every state works, obviously, but primaries and general elections are usually set in stone in state constitutions. There will likely be some heavy legal fallout if they try to postpone them.

@tgraf66 Louisiana is an example of one of the states who just delayed their primary, which is coming up in May. Their governor made an executive decision. the election ballots are already printed. If there is an objection… The Louisiana Supreme Court is most likely to back up the governor’s decision. The state is controlled by the GOP. It’s all over the local and national news.
What you say is true: it shouldn’t be happening. It certainly will be contested. But perhaps you don’t understand. The law means nothing to the MAGA movement and its leader.

@freya Oh, I understand only too well. That's why we have the government we have right now. However given the string of successes that we've seen in holding the legal lines over the last two years, I was still holding out some hope that the legal process wasn't completely compromised.

@tgraf66  Agreed. My fear is…my sense is that the movement leaders will pull out the stops to keep Congress under MAGA control by any means.

The latest Forum predictions see American citizens coming out in droves to vote for democracy and compassion

Over and over I’ve seen Vladimir, Bibi, and fishlips all losing power around the same time... In my visions, I’ve seen Fishlips lost and confused… and long lines at the polls with a Blue victory.

Jeanne and this Forum’s most talented psychics keep seeing a turning point… when karma comes home to roost on Fishlips’ balding pate… and we the people save our democracy

I’m done with this nightmare…

My mind keeps circling back to the realization that my own countrymen and women chose this nightmare.

Fear is counter productive.

Time to look forward to a renaissance of the American spirit. There is much to do. It’s time to stop ruminating and start planning how I can help. I truly believe that together we can form a wiser and more compassionate union.

Forgive my impertinence.

@freya I’m most angry at the millions who didn’t vote

@tybin

there is a lot to be said for compulsory voting and our preferential system. Also an independent electoral commission to oversee elections and do any redistributions of electoral boundaries so there is no gerrymandering. It works well here in Australia.

The majority of Australians want to keep it that way as well.

regards to all
