today i randomly came across a video of 4 musicians playing violins, a viola, and a cello. The song is from Handel- "for unto us a child is born". As i watched the 4 of them play their instruments with their bows, it made me think of the Tarot card- the 4 of Wands. I had to look up what that card might represent, as i still lose track of a lot of tarot card meanings:
In a general context, the Four of Wands represents happy families, celebrations, surprises, parties, weddings and events. It signifies coming home and reunions, feeling like you fit in and being made to feel welcome and supported...It also represents team work, community spirit and communities or families coming together.
This surprised me, bc it was exactly what i was struggling to say to all of you, not just about my wishes for you on this holiday, but also how you make me feel, too, like every day.

Not sure if anyone was affected by the Southwest flight meltdown or not. If you were, my heart goes out to you. My daughter and her husband and had to extend their stay with us in AZ for 3 extra nights when their Southwest flight was canceled Monday.
Tomorrow they fly home on American instead. While they sadly missed a post -Christmas gathering at his family's home since they couldn't fly back in time, we all managed to have some nice extra time together here at least. AND we finally baked Christmas cookies with our bonus night tonight.
I am so grateful their canceled flight was on our end and not before coming out here for Christmas or in a connecting city somewhere. I am also glad it was canceled BEFORE we left for the airport and not after checking their luggage. As with all the other travelers, there was no notification of the canceled flight and we were fortunate we checked flight aware before heading out. All things considered, it was a most fortuitous adventure.
And there are cookies and the house smells delicious. Extra Extra bonus.
