This was a pleasant surprise!!
Do you remember the Chili's jingle "I Want My Baby Back ( Baby back- baby back) Ribs?"
Come on, you know you are now singing it in your head now right???
Well, back in the day when it came out (early to mid 2000's I think) Boyz To Men was thought to be the singers of the jingle because they were really popular at the time and they sounded a lot like the actual singers of the jingle. They weren't the singers though but the jingle became iconic.
We all sang it in our homes right? Hard not to think of Chili' s or ribs without singing the song.
Well, flash forward MANY years and Chili's just came out with a new commercial with that famous jingle. AND with Boyz to Men singing it.
It is so fun to watch!!!!
If you remember the jingle, I bet you will be smiling by the time the commercial finishes. I know I was.
P.S. I just passed a Chili's this weekend with my daughter and we commented that we hadn't been in there for YEARS. Something tells me we aren't the only ones. Wonder how much their menu may have changed...or stayed the same? Anyone been there in the last year or two? Do they even offer anything sorta healthy to eat? haha

As many of you may remember, when heading to the transplant center this past August we stopped first (with my daughters) at the Pink concert in Detroit. It was a wonderful night that solidified my love of her even more as she’s an unparalleled performance artist.
Whelp, our girl topped herself: https://people.com/pink-give-away-banned-books-florida-tour-stops-8401409
I could not love her harder.
@dannyboy Last night on Twitter 😇
Sounds like some Five Man Electrical Band is in order.
@cindy she inspires me to do more even though I’m a tiny drop of blue in the deepest red you can imagine here in Northern Michigan.
@lovendures when I read your post it reminded me of a program that was on back in 2013 and 2014 that was called something like The Best Funerals. It was based on a funeral home in Dallas Texas that did elaborate funerals for people. One of the funerals was for William "Willy" McCoy who was the original singer of the baby back rib song. The casket was built to look like a smoker, they served ribs and had a barbecue sauce fountain to dip the ribs in. Some would say it was a very tacky show. Probably why it was only on for a year or so. Thanks for the chuckle!
This is funny...and a bit odd. hahaha. Sometimes it is good to have laughter surrounding funerals. Certainly it was memorable right?
Wait, perhaps Fred Rogers was really an alien from an advanced civilization. Watch this and you tell me.

A tiny penguin wandered onto a New Zealand airport tarmac. They scooped him up before a plane ran over it, and whisked the little guy off for human health and wellness care. He was given a complete physical, including a battery of tests, put on weight gain diet of fresh fish, and treated like the precious little guy that he is. They will keep him until his adult feathers come in then release him to the wilds.
Turns out he's not the only wild animal to frequent airports. Here's the rundown from the Washington Post:
"The penguin is the newest member of a menagerie that has infiltrated airports, including musk ox, caribou, seals and moose on Alaska airfields, alligators at Orlando’s airport, diamondback terrapins at JFK in New York, wild hares at Milan’s Linate Airport and foxes at England’s Manchester Airport. In Australia, airport employees have to shoo away pesky kangaroos. Last February, an Air New Zealand pilot screeched to a halt after landing at Dunedin Airport to make way for a hedgehog."
I think the animals know we need their help. See! This story already lifted my spirits today.
