Lawrence, I believe Ms. Tina Turner just reached out wanting to acknowledge you because following your song on YouTube just now, What's Love Got To Do With It began to play. That is so cool and it actually is moving to me. It wasn't random. I am getting the sense that she really did enjoy that moment with you and is sharing the love and laughter back to you.

Just popping in to send love and say hi to you all! I've been insanely buried by life and work and the emotional tide of my firstborn moving to a red state in the next two weeks (found out a week ago ... went south to look at apartments over the weekend ... I'm excited for the adventure he will be on, but heartbroken that he will be so far away, and in a crazy state.). Plus, the need to mentally and emotionally disconnect for awhile. I will be alone for the month of July, and looking forward to a big catch-up here!
Wanted to share a cute little dream I had the other night: I was snuggling with Obama ... little spoon ... and he was telling me it was all going to be okay. (@unk-p ... tell Forever First Lady thanks for letting me borrow him for a bit to self-soothe! I saw her on tour when he first book came out, and as someone who has never really had heroes, she blew me away. What an amazing person. :) )

I think Pride month is one of the most beautiful celebration months.
Who doesn't like seeing rainbows and colorful flags in large and small towns, dotting the landscape and fluttering in the wind? It is such a welcoming and happy scene. Such a different feeling than the Confederate flag.
I would love to see a big pick-up truck driving around my city with rainbow flags. It would create such a different feeling than Confederate or Trump flags flying on a truck right?.
I find those scary, yet there are people who feel a rainbow flag is threatening.

I agree. Pride month is a beautiful time to celebrate our diversity, our unity, and our self expression.
Despite the haters, we are still loving whomever we love and being who we are and who we will be as a society.

We celebrate Gay Pride in March and this year it also included World Pride.
The first event was held in Rome in 2000 and has since been organised to coincide with historic events in the community's rich history, including the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots.
Cities need to compete to host, with Sydney successfully winning the bid in 2019 - beating out Houston in Texas and Montreal in Canada.
Sydney will be the first city in the southern hemisphere to host and this year's celebration lines up with the 45th anniversary of the first Mardi Gras Parade in Australia.
The parade here in Sydney began in 1978 as a March to commemorate the 1969 Stonewall Riots in New York and has been held every year since to promote awareness of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered issues.
There were more than 200 floats taking part in the parade along Oxford Street this year.
