Happy Mothers Day to all
who mother and nuture ❤️
I am not sure if this is the best place in the forum for this or not.
I moved back to the family farm/ecosystem a bit over two years ago. My energies have been changing since that time: more centered and relaxed. As my dad puts it, I spend all week at work dealing with BS. Then I get to come home to a small amount of paradise. (Pastureland, forests, streams, wetlands, and a pond)
Since moving back I have noticed that the number of animal encounters I have is going up. And animals that ran for the hills two years ago are now acting wary but still visible. (Bunnies, deer) I have even made “friends” with some local wildlife (turtles, frogs).
Is the increase in animal encounters a manifestation of my energy changing and becoming more balanced?
(picture of my turtle friends last week)
Yes, your energy is changing and in turn the local fauna are taking notice.
Not sure but those might be tortoises (not turtles) in your pic. If so, they enjoy treats of lettuce leaves, edible flowers, and thin yam slices.
@laura-f the turtles in the picture are native yellow bellied sliders. We have a breeding population. These guys love fish food (they sell at the local tractor supply) and wild berries.
Thank you for clarifying that it is the energy shift.
Animals came out of hiding all over the world during the Covid lockdowns. They may not wish to fully hide now that they have gotten a taste of freedom.
In the 90's, I was out promoting my hit recording of "Crank It Up" at a local TV station talk show in LA and there was Tina Turner doing the same thing. We talked about my hometown of St. Louis and we both screamed laughing. She was a powerful light and force. Her energy was overwhelming. I'll never forget this moment. I adored her.
@april I love that you are making new friends. I love your turtle buddies. What a gift this place is for you and what a gift that you are absorbing it into your being.
I like that you put it here in the rooftop lounge which is, after all, a treehouse that looks out upon a dense forest of original growth trees.
Your turtle buddies made my day. Please send more photos.
Friday is my 60th Birthday! Today I baked my best cake ever. Tastes like.chocolate fudge. How do I know? Because I baked a second cake with the same ingredients, a heart shaped chocolate cake like my mom made for me when I was little.
.
@unk-p I had to wait a bit before I could say anything about the incomparable Tina Turner. She brought Domestic Violence front and center and was instrumental in helping bring awareness and new laws to help. She inspired so many of us and gave us hope and courage.... I am a survivor and she was an icon who inspired me to keep on keeping on many a time when life was tough, tough, tough!!! What's Love Got to Do With It indeed!!! I mourn her loss here with us even as she is forever Simply The Best!!!
@ghandigirl Happy Birthday tomorrow! Savor every moment and be proud of yourself for all you have grown and made it this far!!!
