@lovendures there were no horseradish and chives potato chips in my sector... so I made sour cream horseradish and chive dip for my chips ... 🤤 Yum!

This will be Desi, since I already have Lucy (who so far isn't overly impressed). Lucy was the same when I brought home Ricki, but this one is healthy & will play.

Cindy, i wanted to tell you how sorry i am about Ricki. After i prayed about it, i got a strong sense that Ricki had been so traumatized in this life, that (s)he just needed to go back to the spirit and have deep healing. I think after a while, she would like to come back to you, w a fresh start, in a new body. Maybe she could be Ethel- or even Fred?

@unk-p, thank you. Funny thing with Ricki was that the first time I saw her picture on the rescue web site, I saw her white chest blaze & I thought it was a ghost. Spirit told me in a dream she was special. She needed me. In the wrong hands, her life would have been miserable. I felt so bad for her, feeling she had been traumatized so. I normally would have waited longer to get a new pup, especially after a difficult loss, but something has been pushing me. So I caved.
Going to check out Desi today, I could sort of feel my last yellow lab who's been gone over a decade. However Desi doesn't seem quite as silly. Is possible this too can change. I also had my eye on a Great Dane Lab mix (which is what Lucy is- Ricki was great dane great pyrenees mix), but the fellow with the pure lab got in touch first. Same with the cards this morning. When I asked which dog would be the best for my situation, the lab was what I was shown. I typically like to rescue, but that's not how I was led this time.
Desi had two barking fits tonight. The first was when I put her on my bed & she saw the yellow dog in the mirror. Then it was the strangers on the tv that riled her up. The adventures in puppyhood have commenced.
