@journeywithme2 hello, please let us know how you are doing, when you are able. I realize you might not have electricity at the moment ❤️

Good morning all!!! Hugs @unk-p. Thanking you each and every one for the prayers and support. I am happy to report that All of my animals and I are safe and well!!!  I did not ever lose power or wifi nor did anyone else on our road...tho' homes and communities all around us did. My sweet next door neighbors (young couple just had their rainbow baby a year ago..first child , a sweet daughter) and I look after each other..we both cooked up meals to share as well as having pantry items that could cover needs in a crunch.

It did get quite windy and blew a lot of limbs etc down and my old roof sprang a few leaks but I am applying for a grant to replace it anyways as it is 20 years old shingle roof not covered by insurance. I am quite stiff and sore still from all the prepping Thursday and Friday before it came in. Just thankful and grateful I was able to procure the hay and feed for the goats and already had enough cat/dog food on hand that they are all set for another month before they need anything. Lugging those 50 lb sacks of feed and hay aggravated the back mice and L-4 L-5 herniated discs that were strained from the move still. (Would definitely appreciate prayers for complete and swift healing for that!!! I have so much to do still to settle in and get ready for winter) So I will be taking it easy today... its still cloudy and rainy this am but is moving on out and sunshine returning weather prognosticators say.

I rested once all was done and ready and(tired but wired) couldn't sleep and spent the evening and up to the wee hours watching older movies on Tubi ... Forrest Gump, Steel Magnolias,Places in the Heart,The Color Purple, A Man Called Otto, The Horse Whisperer .... all of my old favorites that I could find on there...of course some weren't available that way...but.. I thoroughly enjoyed the break and lying on my heating pad in the bed , sipping Chai tea and dreaming and weeping at the sad parts and laughing at the funny parts and cheering for the courage and choosing oneself parts...all snug and warm and dry with my kitties and pup in bed and close by. I shut out the sounds of the storm's winds and rain outside and finally slept a few hours.

I think today too shall be a recovery day.... time enough when the sun comes back out to work on cleaning up the storm debris... I will not move everything back to its places outside from the carport yet.  A lot of the plants will need to move to the tiny "sun porch" for the winter soon anyway so may as well leave them there.

So once again ..thank you everyone for the prayers and support. Let us continue to pray for all the places hit much harder.... with early voting starting in just a few days and the mid-term elections rolling up quickly...let us pray it doesn't stop everyone from getting out their vote, their voice.... in OUR country.

Much Love and Light to all.

@journeywithme2 You are a true warrior spirit. Get it done and secured! An inspiration to all.  May your back pain be eased, and may you get needed rest.  Thank goodness for good neighbors!  Take care.

@pat-czap Yes indeed!!! Good neighbors are a blessing for sure!!! Not so sure I am a warrior as much as just a stubborn ole Scot/Welch/AngloNorman ancestry cardinal air sign obsessed with balance and equity. ;-)

Thank you much for the prayers and good vibes!!! Much appreciated!!!

@journeywithme2 I agree with @pat-czap In my vision, too, you are a warm-hearted and compassionate warrior, always standing up for those in need, neighbors, and also animals. You never seem to let any obstacle get you really down. Maybe your Norman ancestry and your Libra drive for balance and fairness are the perfect blend that gives you such an inspiring warrior spirit. But for now, I wish you a well-deserved break and some lighter, easier days ahead. 🌻 🌻 🌻

Out of desperation I am seeking your healing energy. I am supposed to go on an international trip next week for which there has been two years of planning. I am having inflammation in my abdomen that involves my bladder (sorry, if this is too much information) but other tissues as well. I cannot get into the most pertinent specialist for a couple of months but it smacks of a chronic condition.  Having researched it, there is not much in the pharmacy world that can help

My near term goal is to be comfortable enough to go on the trip without too much unusual accommodation and deal with the long term problem when I return. If anyone gets any hunches, please let me know.

I would deeply appreciate whatever you could manage.

@raincloud though I’ve not received a positive message to “go ahead and travel;” I sensed that sending healing energy could assist you in the long term resolution of your health challenges.
I’m sending loving, healing Reiki energy for your overall well being:  body, mind and spirit… and that you are able to choose the best course of action regarding you upcoming travel (whether that be traveling now or delaying the trip for the future).
Be well and know the doors for future travel are wide open. 💕🕊️
