Update: I have made all the reports to start the investigations. As with Domestic Violence situations... the most dangerous times are between reporting and actions to give the APS protections.
Courage is taking the right action even tho your knees and voice shake.
I have done so ... I am asking for all prayers and protections for us during this perilous time.
I am deeply grateful for this community and its support.
*Update*APS Caseworker out this morning for two hours and interviewed both of us... and neglect and exploitation found in both cases and charges are being filed. Information given for accessing help for both f us.... for services we qualify for and our home here is safe for us now. *Whew*. Thank you for answered prayers and I thank this community for the Light and Love and Support freely given and ongoing.
I am truly and deeply grateful!!! ❤️
Hi, All. I've been reading that Volodymyr Zelenskky has bad vibes coming his way. Could you please send protective prayers to surround him with a white light of protection. Thank you.
@elaineg Sending angel protection for Mr. Zelensky. May the angels shield him from any and all harm. May he and his most precious loved ones also be shielded from harm. May he remain strong, and feel our love and our support for him and his whole country. May he live a long fruitful life and enjoy the times ahead when he and his country will be free and protected.
@journeywithme2 Would you explain what has happened that caused you to need a caseworker? I think I missed some posts you made and can't find them. I certainly pray for your well being, always.
@jeanne-mayell I don't think @journeywithme2 posted anything about an incident. I think they were just asking for prayers and light for a private situation.
@jeanne-mayell, @journeywithme2 didn't post any specifics. That said, when you are primary caregiver for someone who is not family, your legal status doesn't allow you freedom to do what is necessary for the patient. You need a caseworker when you notify those with legal authority of those needs & they are slow or non-responsive to those requests (like making doctors appointments, filling prescriptions). While I was always available by phone or video for the staff at dad's nursing home to authorize needed treatments or prescriptions, there were other residents whose primary care authorizations came via Social Services caseworkers because legal representatives weren't local, timely with responses, etc.
I'm really struggling.
My new job is much more difficult than I anticipated. I gave up an earlier job promised to accept this one.
I've been a teacher for over 40 years, and I feel like a novice. I have never felt more disconnected and discouraged. Mostly from myself.
Apparently, I am being humbled. And it doesn't feel great.
So tonight I am really struggling. And I am praying for the strength to rise above and feel more grace.
This new job situation sounds like a shock to your system. Give yourself time to adjust. You have a lot to offer, and you will be learning, too. Wishing you a peaceful heart as you settle in.
