My big cat Lollipop is sick. She is younger than Cleo and twice as big. She's been coughing for a few days.

Tonight she needed a chest X-ray. We were hoping it was asthma but the vet thinks it might be a tumor.

They are sending out the films and bloodwork to a radiologist. The vet bill was HUGE.

Tomorrow night we learn what is going on. Pease keep her in your prayers, and us. We are bracing for the worst and hoping for the best.

I don't know if I heard a voice or saw a word in my head, which is usually how I receive a vision, but I got the word "Courage" today. Not sure who sent this message, but it has been helpful.

Today was a challenge to try and be positive and practice good self-care. I stumbled on both. Well, more like slipped on a banana peel, fell down flat. Except less funny.

Lolli is seeming to feel a bit better. She had an antibiotic and steroid shot last night. She just galloped through the kitchen and attacked the throw rug, which is her hobby. Nice to see her playing. Thinking maybe a lung infection or inflammation. Why is it that all of my pets have the same ailments as I do? Why is it that I ALWAYS jump to the worst conclusion in every scenario. I am tired of me doing that. Add correcting that to the self-care list. One Day At A Time.

Last thought: I really do need to learn to forgive others. I don't see any other way for healing. I can't keep sidestepping that fact. It's keeping me from being peaceful. But I am giving myself some Grace until I feel more ready and able to do it.

Good news. She has asthma and will need regular steroid shots and an inhaler.

Very expensive diagnosis but relieved. Doc didn't think it was asthma at the visit. So happy that she was wrong.

@ghandigirl This is indeed good news and one more motivation to stay away from smoking - will be good for both you and your beautiful cat ❤️

@raincloud You may wish to get a second opinion.  i don't know why this came up for me reading your issue.

Just fyi if you can tolerate cabbage or broccoli sprouts, they do help with connective tissue healing.  I would however steam them due to food safety issues.

I hope you will be able to walk regularly asap.

@anya

Thank you for your advice. I see the doc tomorrow; I told him on the phone that we need a plan B. I realize that if this weird injury doesn’t repair itself, he may not be the one to fix it should another surgery be required. I gather that some people have this problem, recurvatum, but it is almost unheard of post total knee. I am thinking that I need someone who has fixed this issue apart from the total knee surgery. Having it heal with normal flexion and extension will be difficult.

I am eating an anti-inflammatory diet so thank for the sprouts tip.

Can someone please tell me if my business will improve? Or if my finances will ever get better? Or if I'll ever not be homeless?

Hello my fellow forum peeps. I am here today to ask for healing prayer and encouragement and emotional support.   I have several autoimmune issues and they really flare worse in hot,humid Southern Dog Days (here through Aug.14th) . I was already having my usual severe PsA flare with blepharitis /uveitis and joint pain when I managed to get stung by neighbors honeybees.  Usually the bees are very docile and sweet and crawl on me and follow me around in the yard as I keep them a dish of water etc supplied. A few happened to fly up my pants leg unbeknownst to me so when I squatted down to pull weeds they were mashed to death and of course stung me. This was just enough of systemic overload to cause my IBS-D to greatly worsen this time with lots of gut pain and discomfort, nausea and inappetence. The prednisone for the uveitis apparently increased my susceptibility. I also realize that body "dis-ease" speaks to our emotional states and affects our responses.  Seeing the depth of depravity the current leadership is displaying in his mental and physical decompensation - the memes and posts on Truth Social of Obama being arrested, the reports of immigrants and fellow citizens wrongfully arrested and detained in these concentration camps... forced to suffer inadequate facilities and being subjected to the bestiality of their captors/guards - who enjoy inflicted pain and suffering on them... like keeping them in chains and forcing them to get down on their knees and eat from plates like dogs etc.  is something I find very hard to "stomach" and I feel their pain, anguish,fear,despair... truly... I just can NOT stomach it. Any prayers, healing Energy,reiki and other loving support y'all can send my way is much appreciated. Thank you!
