@dannyboy Sending much Light and Love and prayers for health and wellness. Asking AA Raphael to attend to your family for swift resolution and return to full health.
@dannyboy Sending angels to your wife and your whole family. They immediately fanned out all around your home, facing outward to protect your family through this latest crisis. May you weather this one, like you've weathered so many others, finding a silver lining that brings strength to your family (and more antibodies!).
@matildagirl Sending angels to your sister that her fracture will heal, and a new day dawn for her. Bless her for her courage, and you too.
@jeanne-mayell It is very much appreciated. We learned this morning her doctor has prescribed the antivirals - probably due to her asthma, so I'm going to run out of my training at lunch and grab those for her. Fingers crossed!
@jeanne-mayell Thank you for your kind words! Yes, Monica has been around and showing signs lately. I've been quiet because I've not only been dealing with dad's decline, but having some doubts and such myself. Not my normal Pollyanna self recently. This too shall pass. Dad has only had a couple of instances where his Parkinson's meds have caused hallucinations in the past several years. Just since last Saturday, he's seen Mom half a dozen times, some unknown woman twice, and swore he was at his old home and someone had taken his golf clubs. It is possible it is his meds, but when he told me he was seeing Mom, alarms were going off for me. I've long had the feeling that once Dad and my sister are gone, things will be changing so much for me (for the better is what I'm getting), but the anticipation of getting there has been weighing on me.
Everything will be alright in the end. If things aren't alright, then it isn't the end. :)
@dannyboy Oh, I’m terribly sad to hear this news about your wife being ill. I’m glad you and the twins are still negative. It’s tricky isolating in the home and I know because our son and his family just did this. Your wife will be okay. I have a good feeling about her. I will pray for all of you today.
@cindy I am lifting up you and your family in prayer. I’ve heard of people seeing departed loved ones shortly before passing themselves. My mother did. Several months before she died, my mother told me all about her day with my stepdad and another couple who were close friends. (All the people my mother thought she spent the day with had already passed.) That day mother was the happiest she had been in a long time and it would have been thoughtless to point out the obvious. So I didn’t. In retrospect, that day was a blessing for her.
I hope you feel blessed yourself in the midst of all the caregiving you do. It’s a privilege to take care of loved ones. I’m glad your daughter is near by and that you feel her presence. What a comfort that must be.
Take care, my friend.
@matildagirl oh my!!! Yes prayers for the Highest Good for all concerned indeed!🙏🏻💜🙌💜🙏🏻
An update on my sister, she is in a lot of pain which should settle in about 10 days but the break is not stable and is displaced so she needs to keeps still to protect the spinal cord. Jeannie with the light brown hair is not good at keeping still.
Spare a thought for my niece as she is shouldering the responsibility of what to do. They are due to fly home tomorrow and need to work out a plan on someone still being there. Luckily she has 3 daughters, many grandchildren and great grandchildren so I think they will find a way. They are a close knit family.
Hoping once Jean is stable they can transfer her down here for further treatment and rehabilitation as her being interstate away from family backup is not good.
Regards to all
@matildagirl Thank you for the update on your sister. I am sending her healing and strength to get through these next days and weeks. What a blessing it is that your sister has such a close knit family and plenty of support.
