Community, here is an update on our @Coyote. After he was admitted to the hospital last Thursday, he wrote that he's felt stronger and more alert since Thursday because of a steroid regimen the doctors have him on a plus the effects of eating more and being better hydrated. It looks like he will get more preparatory treatment soon and then next week he is expecting to get the surgery he's been waiting for.
Your prayers and healings have been a huge help in keeping him hopeful and I believe you have helped mobilize the medical treatment he needs. He is so grateful to you all, and really does feel the healing you are sending.
Those of you who have followed him here over the last five years know that he's been battling a rare disease since the age 8.He's written about it here in prior posts so you can look up this posts by clicking on his alias. He also is one of the most incredible bloggers we have in this community. Many posts that are jewels of wisdom.
In spite of his gift, Coyote's health has been fragile and the disease progressive. He's been hoping and waiting for a big surgery that had been scheduled for February 11 which we expect will pivot his direction to greater health. But he had a bad turn the week before and to his dismay, the surgery had to be postponed. So he got himself admitted to the hospital last Thursday in order to be safe from more health hiccups and also hoping that hospitalization would expedite the surgery he so badly needs. That hope materialized and now his heath is improving and the surgery may come next week. ❤️

I'm going to the OR late tomorrow morning to get a tracheotomy and a gastric tube placement. That’s prep for the big brainstem operation on Monday. The surgery was originally supposed to be Wednesday of next week, but it was moved up, which is good.
On Tuesday I was moved to a different unit, and now I have a room overlooking the East River. The currents in the river were very unsettled today. But I’m only about 10 blocks south of the UN, and I bet there was a lot of drama there today.

While I am sorry the current was unsettling, I am glad you have a view. I think much of the world is unsettled by what is going on right now.
